Last Saturday, Brad Pitt, who was riding one of his custom motorcycles on the streets of Beverly Hills, was implicated in a minor crash with a car. The Hollywood star got through it with only a few scratches and although the bike was towed from the scene, it looked like it could have been ridden to the shop without problems.

Of course, paparazzi were on duty and there have even been speculations about a paparazzo hitting Pitt from behind and causing him to crash, but the most plausible scenario is that Brad was riding between a parked car and a car stopped at a red light when he clipped the parked car with the handlebar and crashed at slow speed.

After the crash, the caring biker inspected his motorcycle and talked to the other party involved. When the tow truck arrived, he walked away. See it all in the videos attached after the break.

We can’t help but wonder what Angelina Jolie has to say about this.

Riding among all kinds of lunatics, a biker can never be too careful. That is why during motorcycle safety courses, instructors advise students to always check their mirrors, even when sitting at a traffic light, stop sign, or simply stopping along side of the road. Riding your dirt bike on the sand dunes is a good choice for a first experience, but it can also turn out being a total disaster if you’re not prepared for the jumps that you plan to make in order to impress your friends. This guy not only hurts himself, but also risks the cameraman’s life when letting go of the bike with absolutely no sense of responsibility regarding the well being of those around him.

Thanks to the good reflexes of the cameraman (the guy wearing a white singlet) nobody apart from the rider was hurt.

250cc Grand Prix racer Alvaro Baustista won third place last weekend at Brno after announcing a 2-year contract with MotoGP factory team Rizla Suzuki. These are more than enough reasons for a young racer to perform a wheelie during the celebration lap, but Baustista was most likely too enthusiastic for a maneuver that requires so much attention. Although you might laugh, this motorcycle crash video (caught by the security camera) isn’t entirely funny. It shows a man riding his Ducati Monster and apparently attempting to perform a stoppie. His attempt is unsuccessful and he ends up smashing into not so bone-friendly security gates.

During the Nürburgring race of the 1999 Superbike World Champion Season, a leaking Kawasaki goes out of competition, leaving the track filled with oil precisely on a braking area of the track. Marshals don’t stop the race to clean up the mess and racers fall one after the other during the folowing eight laps.

How could possibly a crashed motorcycle reveal to have benefited of excellent stopping power if it ended up pretty much redesigned by another traffic participant? Well, the whole point is that the rider of this Triumph Tiger did react in time to prevent a crash and the bike did performed just as supposed in such cases, but the car driver coming from behind either reacted too late or, just as happens in most cases, the vehicle’s brakes had simply too much weight to stop in the respective critic distance and boom…the rider gets tossed around by the force of the impact and messes up the mirrors on his way over the bike, but let’s hope he’s safe and sound.

There are a lot of guys out there who want to stand out from the crowd and although getting into stunts might seem like the solution, the only thing it will get you really is nothing more than a few broken bones and that’s only if you’re lucky. This guy wanted to impress his buddies too and even though he had no idea of how a dirt ramp should be built, he still went for it in a very courageous way, I would mention.
