Kawasaki has released the full specifications of its 2014 KLR 650. Until now, the motorcycle was one of the best sold dual purpose models in the company’s lineup and the 2014 model year has all it need to continue to be as successful as its predecessors.

Powered by a capable four-stroke, DOHC, four-valve, 651 cc engine, the Kawasaki KLR 650 can deal effortless with a wide range of terrains.

The motorcycle also comes with a generous 6.1 gallons fuel tank and a smooth shifting five speed transmission.

Like any respectable off roader, the Kawasaki KLR 650 needed a set of capable suspensions, therefore it comes with a 41mm front fork with 7.9 inches of travel and a rear Uni-Trak suspension that features a five-way preload shock absorber with four-way rebound damping and 7.3 inches of wheel travel.

Tough, agile and sleek the 2014 Honda XR650L is ready to tackle any terrain with poise.

This unstoppable off roader is powered by an air-cooled dry-sump, single-cylinder, four-stroke, 644cc, SOHC engine that deliver a fuel consumption of 52 mpg. The engine is brought to life by an electric starter and its power is kept under control by a five-speed transmission. The motorcycle is also fitted with a gear-driven counterbalancer for the engine which reduces tiring vibrations.

The bike is built on a stiff steel frame that was carefully forged to withstand the toughest punishments of dirt riding. Moreover, the frame’s backbone doubles as the engine’s oil tank, saving weight and space.

The motorcycle’s speed is kept in leash by a set of front and rear disc brakes.

KTM has taken the wraps off its all-new Freeride 250 R two stroke. The motorcycle was especially developed for the beginner off-road riders or for those who want a fun motorcycle that can deal with any type of terrain without backing down.

The motorcycle is propelled by a detuned version of the unit that powers the 250EXC. The 1-cylinder 2-stroke, 249 cc, water-cooled unit comes with weed intake and exhaust control and is mated on a six speeds, claw shifted transmission.

The motorcycle’s backbone is represented by a modern frame made of stainless steel sections and bolt-on forged aluminium components.

The stopping power is assured by a modern Formula braking system that includes a revised piston system, radial callipers with four pistons front and two pistons rear, and lightweight wave brake discs.

The 2014 KTM Freeride 250 R will be available in dealers from mid-September.

Honda revamped its entire range of playbikes for 2014 and the CRF125F makes no exception. The model is available in two versions namely the standard and big wheel. The first is fitted with 14” rear and 16” front rims while the latter comes with 19” front and 17” rear wheels.

The Big Wheel version also comes with a two-inch taller seat height which makes it perfectly suited for taller riders.

The new CRF125F replaces the old CRF100F and gets beefier forks (31mm compared to 27mm) which have a longer travel, a new frame and an all-new larger displacement engine.

Talking about the engine, the 2014 CRF125F is propelled by an air-cooled, single-cylinder, SOHC, four-stroke engine with a displacement of 124.9cc. The engine is brought to life by an electric starter and its speed is controlled by means of a four-speed transmission.

The Yamaha YZ450F has received a complete makeover for 2014. The new motorcycle comes with a long list of style and technical upgrades which make it better, lighter and stronger than the previous generation.

One of the most important upgrades made to the Yamaha YZ450F is the all-new aluminum Bilateral Beam frame that is rigid enough to offer a stable ride but also light enough to not feel heavy during high jumps.

The motorcycle’s handling is also enhanced by the reworked suspensions and the new steering head pipe position which was moved 10mm closer to the rider.

Meet the Beta Alp 4.0, a versatile motorcycle powered by a 349 cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, air cooled, S.O.H.C. engine.

The engine is married to a six speed transmission with wet, multi0disc clutch and comes with a fresh exhaust system for 2013.

Other modifications made for 2013 include new plastics with a modern design, a more efficient headlamp and two new paint-and-graphics schemes, namely White Pearl and Red.
