This video is apparently one that shows nothing new in matter of crashes while drag racing. The rider of one bike released the clutch too fast, gave the bike too much gas, the front end lifted from the ground and he totally lost control. We can understand that. What we can’t understand is where that photographer was running to so fast that he couldn’t even managed to stay on his feet.

Drag racing is the way to go if you plan on becoming the fastest female motorcycle rider on Earth and it seems that Jennifer Robertson has got that right. Growing up in a family that is passionate about racing, Jennifer inherited the passion for motorcycles from his father and started to rider since it was six years old.

Which better way to compare a Suzuki Hayabusa with a Kawasaki ZX14 then on a straight line? And which better place to do that then at the O’Reilly Raceway Park at Indianapolis?

The Hayabusa was going for a good run, but it seems that previous burnouts for worming out that rear tire worn it too much, ending up blowing. It is amazing that the rider was still conscious after such a crash and I can understand why it didn’t got up its feet.

It is funny how this guy knows all the performance data of its drag electric motorcycle, but when it comes to doing a burnout – which is something ordinary for somebody who races on a straight line – it blows us away and ends up going to the hospital unconscious. I’d rather not see this, but it is a good lesson for all of you out there who think that electric motorcycles aren’t as powerful as the ones fed with petrol.

It is nice to see the sponsors on that cap, but wouldn’t a helmet do any better?

It seems that being environmentally friendly doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to give up to all of those fun weekend incursions on the drag track (even though the one in this case is made of dirt).

Electric engines may not offer the same grunt as the ones fueled by methanol do, but it seems that they get the job done and participants open the throttle to the maximum lap after lap and there is great response to the strong request even though you may have to help the bike with your foot from time to time.
