Motoring TV show Fifth Gear recently filmed a test between an $22,900 Ducati 1098 and $310,000 Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera at the Wiltshire Circuit of Castle Coombe.
The 1098 ridden by British Superbikes Airwaves Ducati star Leon Haslam, was more than a match for the Lamborghini Supercar driven by Tiff Needell as both bike and car were put head to head for three challenges; slalom, braking and a one-lap race.
This will be the second time that a Lamborghini and a Ducati Superbike have battled it out on fifth Gear with the 999 previously victorious.

The Ducati 1098 F08, Ducati’s future World Superbike challenger, made its public debut at the Misano World Circuit in Italy yesterday with a number of demonstration laps in front of over 50,000 spectators at WDW World Ducati Week 2007.
