The amphibious motorcycle

Those of you who have long been thinking at a new and interesting way to spend the summer might just be inspired by this picture. This guy removed his motorcycle’s engine and transmission so that it would lose most of the weight and added a pair of swimmers along with the massive tires just so that he would be able to spend the summer riding those waves.

We can only suppose that the thing is still capable to move on solid ground too in order to meet both requirements of an amphibious motorcycle.

Video: sexy biker chick ad

Although this is actually a commercial for a domains website, our attention is being caught by the fact that it shows a scooter rider and a badass biker passenger making “the beard” look like a fool. Well, I guess that a quick twist of the throttle doesn’t always sort things out after all.

Video: Harley-Davidson finally becomes honest

Ever since Harley-Davidson discontinued Buell, we’ve been getting more and more feedback from angry Buell fans, but this video is the first “official” reaction that we’ve come across. These guys took the time to make fun of H-D by appealing to the motorcycle company’s own arms such as heritage and tradition and they’ve ended up inventing the Extra Soft Tail Deluxe Hyperglide American Bald Eagle Historical Limited VXFR1200 Patriot Skull Edition.

While we can understand their anger, we just cannot take this video seriously. You see the spoof for yourself and make your own decision.

Video: the motorcycle version of Kobe Bryant’s stunt

It looks like Kobe Bryant has inspired these morons to attempt their own version of the famous “stunt” failed by the famous basketball player. I know, it sounds crazy but between the time this guy got hit and up until he hit the ground, he felt like a sports star…and he lives to crash his body another day.

Roller carousel + scooter = dangerous fun

Everyday stuff such as a roller carousel and a scooter aren’t dangerous at all as long as people use them for the purposes they were created for, but teenagers aren’t quite known for doing that with stuff on a regularly basis. So take a look at this video to see what happens when a bunch of teenagers try to spice up their carousel ride using the power of a scooter. Hope that guy is ok.

Cockroaches ride too?

In one of Orkin’s (company producing an anti-cockroach poison) latest commercial for hot tubs, they show a monster bug going in “for a piece of the action” and then making a run for it…on a motorcycle. This is actually a funny commercial if you don’t come to think this is actually how people around us see motorcyclists.

Funny: “fully-accessorized” Suzuki DR

Either the owner of this Suzuki DR is willing to take his enduro bike across the continent or only to the cesspit and back as he has fitted the bike with probably the world’s larges panniers, so there’s got to be a great purpose for someone to ruin his bike like that.

Still, we have all the reasons to believe the guy actually uses that stuff to carry his luggage as the panniers can be locked…why would anyone lock the garbage? Also, he has a fuel canister on the side, so this is definitely a homemade long distance motorcycle. Love it or not, it gets the job done.

Video: Scooter rider vs handrail

Very often, careless riders end up challenging different obstacles around them and in most cases the obstacles are the ones that win. This is also the case of this possibly drunk fellow riding a scooter around just so that he would look a bit more interesting on the camera until a handrail gets him. That’s just crazy.

Born to be wild…on a moped

The guy on this bike clearly hasn’t been riding for long, but now that he just joined the club he may at least look cool (or make an attempt to) while riding. This is his pretty much lame attempt to feed an obsessive Easy Rider dream for as little as $50.

It seems our custom bike fan got it all wrong from the start as his bike is nothing more than a moped, while the customizing bits consist in a Pegas bicycle handlebar, an extra headlight (the original didn’t worked anyway), more lights and leathers.

The result may be laugh worthy for those who have taken the picture, but this rider is actually living the dream.

We added a second picture after the jump just for comparison.

Harley-Davidson XR1200 monster bike

Harley-Davidson designed and built the XR1200 as their very first roadster in an attempt to appeal to younger riders as well. The plan sounded good in theory and if they offered plenty of customization possibilities, the bike qualified as a success. Said and done. But I guess that nobody really thought at doing something like this. Why not when the Harley-Davidson XR1200 monster bike looks like one of the best ways to shake the stress away.

What’s best, this impressive motorcycle offers the unique opportunity of seeing a car crushed by a motorcycle and not the other way around. Revenge looks good!
