A new 200mm rear tire, Black Slotted Cast Aluminum Disc rear wheel with color-matched belt sprocket and a wider bobtail fender have the already menacing FXSTB/I Night Train looking tougher than ever for 2006. Staggered chrome pipes flash in front of an all-black powertrain with wrinkle-black trim on the engine covers and air cleaner, oil tank and rear fender supports. A black console is perched on the fuel tank. The raked FX front end carries a 21-inch laced wheel. The Chrome Aluminum Profile Laced front wheel and Forged Polished Aluminum Disc rear wheel are available as factory-installed options. The FLSTSC/I Springer Classic slides a fat front tire and clean FL fender between a Springer front end in black powdercoat with a chrome shock and springs. It’s a tough, retro look that’s pure Panhead, enhanced by the front- fender running light, a stamped aluminum tank graphic and wrap-around trim strip, as well as a vintage-style patent label on the oil tank. The crossover chrome dual exhaust system hangs long and low on each side of the rear wheel. The seat features embossed nameplates and a separate passenger pillion that can be removed easily. There is plenty of style, but loads of function, too. The Springer front suspension is engineered to deliver an outstanding ride and precise handling.
