In keeping with the long, low and lean custom profile, the Deuce rolls supremely on 160mm rear rubber that not only accentuates the look but delivers a great-handling ride. A new, wide bobtail fender covers a fat, 200mm rear tire that gives the FXST/I Softail Standard an imposing new attitude. It’s a long, raked custom look that inspires customization among Softail Standard owners. This is the elemental Softail, with simple styling and clean lines that make the FXST/I the ultimate starting point for personalization. A Chrome Aluminum Profile Laced front wheel and Forged Polished Aluminum Disc rear wheel are available as factory-installed options.
A new 200mm rear tire, Black Slotted Cast Aluminum Disc rear wheel with color-matched belt sprocket and a wider bobtail fender have the already menacing FXSTB/I Night Train looking tougher than ever for 2006. Staggered chrome pipes flash in front of an all-black powertrain with wrinkle-black trim on the engine covers and air cleaner, oil tank and rear fender supports. A black console is perched on the fuel tank. The raked FX front end carries a 21-inch laced wheel. The Chrome Aluminum Profile Laced front wheel and Forged Polished Aluminum Disc rear wheel are available as factory-installed options. Available in Vivid Black, Black Pearl and Black Cherry, of course.

The FLSTSC/I Springer Classic slides a fat front tire and clean FL fender between a Springer front end in black powdercoat with a chrome shock and springs. It’s a tough, retro look that’s pure Panhead, enhanced by the front- fender running light, a stamped aluminum tank graphic and wrap-around trim strip, as well as a vintage-style patent label on the oil tank. The crossover chrome dual exhaust system hangs long and low on each side of the rear wheel. The seat features embossed nameplates and a separate passenger pillion that can be removed easily. There is plenty of style, but loads of function, too. The Springer front suspension is engineered to deliver an outstanding ride and precise handling. A Silver Slotted Cast Aluminum disc rear wheel is new. The standard steel laced front wheel can be replaced with an optional Chrome Aluminum Profile Laced wheel.
FLSTN/I Softail Deluxe combines easy-riding comfort with a heavy dose of nostalgia to create an eye-catching custom that’s a joy to ride. It hugs the road on lowered suspension. The pull-back riser and handlebars and 24.5-inch seat height make the Softail Deluxe comfortable for a wide range of riders. It’s also the lowest Softail in the line. Custom details include a tapered chrome luggage rack, checked seat side panels and a chrome grab rail, tapered floorboards with chrome trim and clean front and rear light bars with bullet signals. Wide whitewall tires over laced chrome wheels, distinctive tank and fender emblems and a classic tombstone tail light recall another era. Choose from seven paint schemes, including the two-tone combinations of Glacier White/Deep Cobalt and Glacier White/ Vivid Black. The reintroduced FLST/I Heritage Softail offers the elemental styling traits of the Softail platform - hardtail styling and a rigid-mounted engine - with the classic Harley-Davidson FL "large" front end and wrap-around FL rear fender. The Heritage Softail comes equipped with laced steel wheels, a silver powder-coated engine with polished covers, and floorboards with a heel-and-toe shifter. A new seat design includes a quick-release passenger pillion that can be removed in seconds, leaving the rear fender uncovered behind a solo seat.
