  Harley-Davidson Touring

Clean, unadorned styling and a distinctive, frame-mounted fairing set the FLTRI Road Glide apart from other Harley-Davidson touring motorcycles. Because it’s mounted to the frame instead of the handlebars, the wind-splitting fairing reduces weight on the fork and handlebars to give the Road Glide responsive handling. Weather protection remains outstanding. The fairing holds a cockpit-style instrument display and a new 40-watt Advanced Audio System by Harman/Kardon. Hard-shell saddlebags, cruise control and Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection are standard. New black slashing graphics create a bold contrast on lighter color combinations that were not offered in the past. The Road Glide is available in eight color combinations for 2006, including new Fire Red Pearl and new Deep Cobalt and Yellow Pearl

Immersed in Harley-Davidson heritage, the FLHRCI Road King Classic offers appealing details like wide whitewall tires wrapped over steel laced wheels, a tooled leather Touring seat and leather-covered hard-shell saddlebags, and unique metal trim items. It’s a stunning motorcycle, and always ready for the open road with a large detachable windshield, air-adjustable rear suspension, auxiliary passing lights, triple-disc brakes and standard Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection and cruise control. Offered in 10 solid, Sunglo and two-tone color combinations for 2006.

Lean and clean the FLHRS/I Road King Custom rolls with a cool attitude inspired by the California beach scene. A smooth front fender, swept-back chrome wind deflector and pull back Beach handlebars, and leather-covered smooth hard bags give the Road King Custom a streamlined, liquid profile. Low Profile rear suspension and a deep bucket seat combine for a seat height of just 26.1 inches, the lowest in the Touring family. Chrome Slotted Cast Alloy wheels, nickel-plated tank badges, bullet front and rear turn signals, streamlined rider footboards, passenger pegs and brake pedal, and a smooth chrome fuel tank console are exclusive custom features. Offered in eight solid, Sunglo and pearl colors for 2006.

The FLHR/I Road King offers classic Harley-Davidson styling with the long-range comfort of the Touring chassis. Locking, weather-resistant hard-shell saddlebags and a large, detachable windshield handle luggage and the weather. A two-piece touring seat, air-adjustable rear Touring suspension and footboards make for all-day comfort. The big, clear-lens Hiawatha headlight and new clear-lens auxiliary passing lights, console-mounted speedometer and a deep skirted FL front fender deliver the style. There are 10 color options for 2006 including four two-tone combinations.

Custom touches include Streamliner footboards, brake pedal and passenger pegs. A stretched, chrome fuel tank console has an embossed, diamond-cut nameplate. The tank features a special smoked-chrome emblem. The result is a touring motorcycle that looks lower, lighter and cleaner than an Electra Glide and rolls down the road with more attitude. The Street Glide is available in four solid colors: Vivid Black, Black Pearl, Black Cherry and Deep Cobalt.
