Australia-based tuner Deus Ex Machina has turned the Harley-Davidson Nightster into a café racer that they call the Deus Special. The original 1200cc V-Twin motor was kept, but the bike now offers a completely different riding experience and the muscular looks are sure to indicate that from the very first glance.
Deus told hell for leather magazine they’ve used modified Yammy SR400 tank, quick release strap, new taps etc.

Harley-Davidson has declared November "Military Appreciation Month," inviting fans to pay a tribute to both active and retired U.S. Military personnel on a specially created “thank you” section of their website. Fans of the iconic American brand can create an electronic postcard featuring model Marisa Miller and Harley-Davidson motorcycles or buy limited-edition posters, postcards and calendars featuring the Victoria’s Secret Angel from HD dealerships. Now that Harley-Davidson is concentrating on its own brand after bringing Buell to a sad end of the road and planning to sell MV Agusta, we became even more interested in their future plans and came across a concept bike designed by Miguel Cotto. The interesting part about it is that, unlike the usual concept designs that we see nowadays, power comes from a high-revving 883cc engine claimed to retain the HD sound that drives bikers crazy about their bikes.
We like the hubless wheels and this concept HD motorcycle in general, but certainly can’t imagine a pack of highway wolfs getting their beards on this baby not even ten years from this day.
We’re sad to announce that Harley-Davidson is discontinuing the Buell brand and selling off its share in MV Agusta. Harley-Davidson launched a video presenting their 2010 lineup and inviting their riders (better said, their future riders) to start living free in the true American style because these motorcycles have long been representing the new land with pride. Arguing that “freedom ain’t quiet,” HD also invites you to make your statement at http://h-d.com/freecountry and if it’s among the best, you’ll even see it used on banners promoting their motorcycles.
Looking at the stock Harley-Davidson Sportster XLCH and at what the crew at WrenchMonkees could do with it, you won’t find many differences, but the fact is that this hardtail is now the result of a mix between the HD motorcycle and Husqvarna parts in an attempt to stand out the off-road side of the original machine even more.
The source of around 60 horsepower is a 900cc V-Twin engine supplied with gas by an S&S carburetor, while the megatron dual exhaust is a WM creation. The hardtail rear frame (probably this bike’s most distinctive part) was also built by the Copenhagen-based custom motorcycle builder and together with the Borani style rims with Pirelli rubber, gives a scrambler look to the attractive thing.
What sets this custom further apart from its American DNA is the Husqvarna CR tank with its European style, but also WM components such as the fender, seat, headlight and taillight as well as the custom paint.
The WrenchMonkees Sportster XLCH is priced at just under $21 grand (DKR 105.000). Read the specs after the break.
