The Harley-Davidson Sportster XL1200 Custom is as all-American as any bike can get. Built for the long and winding roads of the country, this custom cruiser was designed with the idea of being an all-around companion for the most ardent of riders.
A wide front end and chunky 16" tire gives the new Harley-Davidson Sportster 1200 Custom a strong and contemporary stance. It features plenty of all the trademark Harley amenities, including new wheels, a pull-back handlebar, and a reshaped LED tail lamp. All these elements give the Sportster 1200 Custom an exciting new look that should be an eye candy to a lot of riders. The headlamp offers a reshaped classic Sporter "eyebrow" look while the taillight comes with a new shape that features a bright, low-maintenance LED element. The pull-back handlebar, a critical piece of Harley’s design engineering, is mounted on a curved riser that likewise incorporates an LED warning light display. The bike is then finished off with a pair of chrome, 5-Spoke cast aluminum wheels on the front and rear and wrapped in Michelin Scorcher “31” tires.
In terms of powertrain, the Sportster 1200 Custom is far from a push-over, thanks to a mighty and rubber mounted 1200cc Evolution V-Twin powertrain with Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection (ESPFI) and mated to a five-speed transmission and a dual staggered exhaust system.
On top of all of its features, the Sportster 1200 Custom also comes with an H-D1 factory customization, a new opportunity that allows the customer to choose from seven option categories to optimize fit, function and style. Some bikes are made to thrill while others are made to shrill. The Harley-Davidson Sportster XL1200N Nightster is both - and a whole lot more.
Ever since its introduction in 2007, the Nightster model has prowled the streets with a deep, menacing growl. Its low, dark, and aggressive, and its styling has brought back some serious attitude to Harley’s Sportster family. With chopped front and rear fenders, a side-mounted license plate, a low 25.3" seat height, old-school front fork gaiters, and raw-boned graphics, the Sportster Nightster has become the ideal no-nonsense cruiser bike Harley-Davidson fans have come to love.
Other design details of the Sportster Nightster include a chopped front fender with black brackets and lightening holes, a chopped rear fender with black supports, black fork sliders and fork gaiters, a Sportster Classic solo seat, a black headlamp body with a black visor and satin trim ring, a low-rise handlebar and black riser, and a new pair of laced steel wheels with chrome spokes and black hubs.

The Harley-Davidson Dyna FXDF Fat Bob comes with a pretty unique name, but what’s more unique than its tag is the bike itself. This custom cruiser is made from the stuff that riders of all shapes and sizes absolutely crave.
With forward-mounted foot controls, a drag-style handlebar, and a sleek, two-up seat, the Fat Bob motorcycle creates an aggressive riding position that commands respect wherever it goes. Though it looks the part of a ’fat’ cruiser, the Dyna Fat Bob’s characteristics emphasize character aggression, highlighted by a 130 mm wide front tire with a gnarly, robust tread pattern. The all-new Harley-Davidson XL1200X Sportster Forty-Eight is a bike that drips power and attitude, something that its builder, Harley-Davidson, wasted the bike to exude.
Can we blame them? If you see this bike prowling the streets, then you best get out of its way. The Forty-Eight is the personification of an urban brawler; from the fat, balloon tires to the all-steel peanut tank to the solo seat and all the custom touches in-between, the Forty-Eight is a mighty two-wheeled trampler that owns the concrete road.
In terms of design, Harley-Davidson wanted to build a bike that not only performs like a beast, but looks like one too. The 26" seat height offers a low profile, while the peanut tank and big 16" wheels combine for a menacing look that could only come from Harley-Davidson. Custom touches have also been added, including a chopped front fender mounted on fork brace with lightening holes, a slammed speedometer, under bar mounted mirrors, a low profile custom handlebar, a side-mounted license plate, and a pair of 16" black, laced steel wheels.
For all of its imposing aesthetic characteristics, the heart of the Forty-Eight is still its rubber-mounted 1,200cc Evolution V-Twin powertrain, one that comes with an Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection (ESPFI), a chrome, shorty dual exhaust with slash-cut mufflers, and a five-speed transmission.
