2009 Honda CRF230F

Diversity is what Honda knows offering best and the CRF230F is an adequate example of that. Perfectly filling the gap between Honda’s race-bred CRF250X and the CRF150F, the bike is addressed at those who search for a great combination between performance, versatility, a low seat height and the convenience of electric start. Add a six-speed transmission to that list and you’re in for one hell of a ride.

2009 Honda CRF250X

Take motocross performance to the trails with the 2009 Honda CRF250X. This machine has been tuned for off-road riding and it features electric starting, but the race-bred engine and chassis cannot pass unnoticed out where the going gets tough.

2009 Honda CRF450X

Apart from the renewed motocross lineup, Honda also presents 2009’s trail motorcycles, the so called “X” models from which the CRF450X is the biggest and most notorious model. I don’t wonder why as it won every Baja 500 and Baja 1000 competition it entered and there are no indications of Honda wanting to stop here. No reason, also, so here you have it!

2009 Honda CRF150R/Expert

Honda’s smallest motocrossers are now 2009 model years and they features goodies taken straight off their bigger siblings, just like we got used to. Both the award-winning CRF150R and big-wheel Expert models rely on their Unicam engine’s performance and light, versatile chassis in order to beat the competition. So let’s see what they’re up to.

Honda Fury finally gets tested…and spied

Honda has been preparing a whole new custom motorcycle for quite some time now and it seems that they have reached the testing faze. The best proof is this spy shot – originally presented by Solo Moto – presenting the Honda Fury undergoing final testing in Arizona, USA.

As seen in the picture, Honda tries a totally new approach towards the cruiser market, setting the new motorcycle apart from what we originally gotten used to. The first thing that strikes you is the design. With custom wheels, a very low seat and smooth fuel tank and rear fender, the new Honda model makes us very curious about its every single unique feature.

2009 Honda CRF250R

Honda presents their upgraded 2009 CRF250R motocrosser, a dual-muffler machine which in these past few years stood as a class leader and the choice of those who stay with the best. Fuel injection hasn’t yet come to quarter-liter engines so the bike doesn’t follow the trajectory of its bigger sibling, the CRF450R, but at least it is a sharper handler.

2009 Honda CRF450R

Honda is set to dominate the premier motocross class as they launch a radically improved 2009 CRF450R that is lighter, more powerful and better handling. As supposed, the totally new engine gets fuel injection in a quest for even more power and the new chassis makes it easier to be maneuvered to the top of the podium.

2009 Honda DN-01

honda dn-01 picture

Honda is keen on finding radical new approaches towards motorcycling and the 2009 DN-01 model is probably the best example of them all. Some people love it and others can certainly live without it, but despite the anticipation of critics, the DN-01 carries on being produced in 2009. Even more, it goes for the North American market and creates an entirely new category in the Japanese manufacturer’s lineup, something that tells us that there’s plenty where this came from as long as the market is positive and responsive about the first crossover motorcycle ever made.

2009 Honda ST1300P/1300P ABS

Wondering what that “P” in the model name is all about? Well, law enforcement officers certainly don’t as these bikes address specifically to them.

For 2009 Honda also produces Police models of the notorious ST1300/ABS. Easy to handle, a top performer and very reliable, the ST may not feature any upgrades, but it surely won’t pass unnoticed when the lights and sirens are turned on. Ouch, that never sounds good!

A tricked out Honda Rebel by Heiwa

What a radical transformation! The way in which the crew at Heiwa modified this series motorcycle – one related to which you don’t hear many “wows” – is simply amazing and it shows that sometimes the real challenges consist in what is unappreciated and left behind.

Details such as the raw heat-forged shifter, the switches on both sides of the oil tank as well as the satin-finished megaphones and fittings make all the difference, but adding a N.O.S system to a 250cc engine is an idea I couldn’t have got not in a thousand years.
