The 2007 Supercross Tour got to its end last week end in Lyon. Husqvarna brand new rider Christophe Martin surprised audience with his incredible skills that leaded him to the third final place.

In the final races of the Supermoto World Championship 2007 in Megara/Greece, Adrien Chareyre in the S1 Class (no capacity limit) finished 5th, which gained 330 points in the overall season ratings w and won the World Championship title in this class. In second place was Thierry Van Den Bosch on Aprilia, and Adrien’s brother Tomas finished third, also on Husqvarna.

Following the signing of the contract by the current president of BMW Motorrad, Dr Herbert Diess, (member of the board of BMW AG since 01/10/2007), and Claudio Castiglioni in Milan yesterday, the new managers of Husqvarna Motorcycles have today been named. Rainer Thoma is in charge of Business Operations (development, production and sales) and Thomas Moser of purchasing, finances und personnel. With consecutive second and third place results at the GP of USA and the GP of Canada Seb’s double runner-up result in Slovakia is his highest finishing result of the ’07 series so far with his ‘home’ round of the championship taking place in France in two weeks time.

Thanks to the great results of the young riders Mickael Szuster, Simon Wakely and Daryl Bolter, the team is now getting higher in the provisional classification of Enduro European Championship.
It took place in Heinola, Finland, the third race of the Enduro European Championship.

Team Husqvarna Racing’s Australian 2006 Supermoto Champion Troy Herfoss headed off to New Caledonia to contest the 3rd Supermoto of Noumea.
The invitational ride to the French territory south west Pacific isle, was certainly a change of scenery but definitely not a change of pace as Herfoss outgunned his local opponents on the 51 second a lap picturesque city circuit on Sunday December 3, 2006.
