Cargobike, your second car

How about a bike equipped with storage room enough to carry even your dog. I’m kidding, you know that, right? Not about the storage capacity, but about the dog. The Cargobike has a storage compartment of 150 liters in capacity, for loads of up to 80 kg. Yes, it could carry your dog, but those 150 whole liters of the cargo compartment are waterproof. It means that your dog have to run next to you or even after you.

The bike is nicely balanced because that lockable storage capacity is where the tank and engine would be on a normal motorcycle and it’s probably the only bike around that can zip you through traffic with a full suitcase, laptop and a few pairs of shoes all stored securely, with room for your lid and gloves when you get where you’re going.

This bike is particularly aimed for use by, craftsmen, self employed professionals, small and medium sized businesses and of course large companies. The Cargobike will be available from January 2008 with the 125cc version priced at € 4980 and the 250cc available for € 5990.
