Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s the Yamaha Deus EX Machina!

Designers in general and motorcycle designers in particularly usually create futuristic projects so that they will test the marker or just for the hell of it, but when receiving a free-hand project at the Yamaha Art Center in Pasedena and coming up with something like this, you know that you simply cannot fail.

In this case, the protagonist is Jake Loniak, who named its immensely futuristic creation the Yamaha Deus Ex Machina.

The STUDENT talks about the “bike’s” features:

“The vehicle is powered by ultra-capacitors and doped nano-phoshpate batteries (similar to the ones currently used in hybrid cars) and it is controlled using 36 pneumatic muscles with two linear actuators set along a spine consisting of seven artificial vertebrae,” Gizmodo explains. “Even the helmet is pneumatically attached.”
