Rumours: Ducati 848 will be unveiled at EICMA

Here’s a picture of what seems to be the future Ducati 848 which will be officially presented at the International Motorcycle Exhibition in Milano. For now, it will be available only as a dual seater but we’ll see soon enough the sport versions, 848 S and 848 R, with a single seat tail and enhanced performance.

The Ducati 848 is almost a faithful copy of 1098 except the weight which should be lower by about 6,5 lbs and the maximum power which would reach about 137 HP.

The retail price of Ducati 848 should be around 13,500 euros ( $19,500) and the initially available colors will the traditional red color and the new white pearl, which would replace the classic yellow.
