Not only the automotive industry is strongly focusing on the electric market, but the motorcycles are also following the same direction. M55 has revealed a pretty impressive electric bike that not only delivers exceptional performance but great outlook as well. But as with the electric cars, the new M55 Beat is also a very expensive bike: $35.300.

The M55 Beast is powered by a EB-PC electronic motor unit that deliver 1500 Watts of power and can accelerate this machine to a stunning 40 mph and it can go as far as 75 miles with a single charge. Even off-road.

The bike’s major parts are custom made by our seasoned engineers, utilizing technologies and materials used in the Formula One and electric supersportcars: titanium, carbon fiber, CNC machining, brushless motor mechanism are just a few of them.

The new M55 Beast is designed for cross-country use. The weight of the motor and battery pack require burlier components which mean longer life-expectancy at the same time. The stopping power is delivered by the famed brake company, Brembo.

I agree with you guys, I don’t really see the point int this contraption. And the thing is really too costly to be of practical use.

They really nailed it when they called this an electric bike. Really looks more like a bicycle with a motor slapped on rather than a stripped down motorcycle. Too bad it costs almost the same as a superbike.

I can’t believe that this bike has a fanatic. Just come to think of it..they made a 2011 production for this one. so it means that someone has bought during the previous years..what a waste!

haha. Pointless!! Such a waste to convert the traditional bike into electric one! Why don’t they make it as a motorcycle instead..its close there. why you need to torture yourself saddling the whole time if you can enjoy the nature without inconvenience!

A 2000 dollars bike is a extremely expensive bike. This bike costs more than a decent Mercedes!!!!

It’s price is for morons (medical term denoting an adult with a mental age of about 8–12)! Plain and simple.

The fault of a overpriced item is not the one who sells it, but the one who buys it!
