"999" takes ride on F-16

The Italian Air Force celebrated the Ducati 999’s success in World Superbike by painting an F-16 Hornet’s drop cell "Ducati red" and marking it with the 999 logo. The red external fuel tank created an impressive contrast against the all-silver aircraft.

The F-16 pilot also sent his congratulations to the team from up high with a sign that read "Ducati 999 SBK – World Champion 2006."
