It’s just the thing to complete the whole house custom motorcycle theme. Springer suspension absorbs the bumps, a skull topped jockey shift extends the highway pegs so you can stretch out on those extended TV tours.

Motorlounge introduces the “GothRod”, first in a series of numbered, limited edition Chopper Chairs, that bring the rolling art and bad-ass attitude of high-end custom choppers inside, to be admired, envied and experienced; no helmet required.

Although the “GothRod” was conceived as a collectible, an object of design art and desire, it truly functions as a chair with a surprising level of comfort.

Gene Gordon, who earned his ergonomic chops working for Don Chadwick of Aeron Chair fame, called on his experience with office seating when designing the “GothRod”.

The adaption of traditional springer suspension allows the pivoting seat and back saddles to move seamlessly with their rider. The skull-topped shifter drops down fold-out foot pegs for that laid back cruiser feel.

Each Chopper Chair is built to order, by some of the same craftsmen seen on Cable TV’s Biker Build-Off shows. From its TIG welded steel frame to its custom paint, triple chrome and hand-carved leather saddles, the relentless attention to detail rivals that of their vehicular inspiration.
