After an incredible reception at the recent London Motorcycle show, Ducati heads north of the border to showcase its strongest ever model year line up at the MCN Scottish Motorcycle show.

Ducati UK will attend this year’s Scottish show in conjunction with its premier dealership in Scotland – Ducati Glasgow.

Highlights of the Ducati stand will be the pre-production Hypermotard and the limited edition 1098 Tricolore. This will be the first time these bikes have been seen in Scotland, the only previous showing at the recent MCN London motorcycle show.

The 1098 has been the talk of the motorcycle industry since it was launched late last year and for many people this will be the first time they will get to see the bike and be able to try it for size. Such has been the demand for the bike, that dealers around the country including Ducati Glasgow have only been able to display one example of the new Ducati Superbike, all other 1098s have been snapped up by their prospective owners before they could go on show in the dealerships.

Ducati Glasgow who has represented Ducati for nearly five years in Scotland has sold over 50 1098s this year, as many as any other dealer in the UK and are hoping for similar success with the Hypermotard, having already taken a number of deposits.

Also representing the Ducati model line up in Edinburgh will be the new Multistrada 1100, the Sport 1000 and GT1000 from the Sport Classic range and the S4RS and 695 from the Monster range. A range of the latest Ducati clothing will be on sale from the stand and members of Ducati UK and Ducati Glasgow will be on hand for any sales or technical enquiries.

The 2007 MCN Scottish Motorcycle Show takes place on the 10th and 11th March and is held at the Royal Highland Centre in Ingliston Edinburgh. The show will be open from 9am until 5pm both days.
