There’s something incredibly refreshing about a brand taking the time to show appreciation to customers. We see it a lot, especially in such a dedicated market like motorcycles. Recently, American Honda Finance Corporation took the generosity to a new level when it presented longtime Honda->ke291 owner Harry Adler with a 2015 CB300F, the 55th Honda motorcycle he has owned in his life.

The 84-year old has long been an enthusiast of motorcycles and Honda has been a favorite of sorts for the man. You don’t get to own 55 Honda bikes without loving it, do you? Adler is such a devoted Honda fan that his loyalty has extended to the dealership where he gets his bikes from, which in this case is Horner Honda in Salisbury, Maryland. Of the 55 Honda bikes he has owned, 48 came from Horner Honda and 38 of those purchases were funded through Honda Financial Services.

The incredible dedication to the brand caught the attention of American Honda Finance Corporation and as a way of saying “thank you” for his continued patronage, senior vice president David W. Paul presented Adler with the CB300F, the one bike the 84-year old said was missing in his portfolio.

It’s a great way for Honda Financial Services to give back to a customer that has literally patronized the brand above and beyond anybody could ever imagine.

Congratulations to Mr. Adler on the 55th bike. Here’s to hoping he enjoys the heck out of it!

Why it matters

There's really not much to say here other than giving Harry Adler due props for his unwavering loyalty to Honda and equal credit to Honda Financial Services for stepping up to the plate and recognizing that customers like Adler is a big reason why Honda motorcycles continue to be in business.

That may sound like I'm reaching a little bit, but there's a lot of truth in that. Without customers like Adler who continue to come back and buy more motorcycles from Honda, the company wouldn't be as popular as it is now.
