The second annual Supercross Triple Charity for Children’s Hospital & Regional Medical Center is scheduled for the last week of April in conjunction with the Amp’d Mobile Supercross race at Qwest Field, and Washington native Ryan Villopoto and Kawasaki teammate Timmy Ferry will make a special appearance to support the fundraising event.

Villopoto and Ferry will be joined by top stars who will be in town for the Amp’d Mobile World Supercross GP/Amp’d Mobile AMA Supercross Series race held on Saturday, April 28 at Seattle’s Qwest Field.

“The hope is to raise money for a good cause and to bring something fun for the kids,” said Villopoto, who recently won his first Western Regional AMA Supercross Lites title. “Washington is home for me, and to be able to give back to Children’s Hospital is a special opportunity for me and my family. I hope the entire racing community will support this event.”

Building on the momentum garnered at last year’s inaugural event, event organizers MX for Children and Live Nation Motor Sports hope to raise $75,000 for Children’s Hospital & Regional Medical Center, which is fifty percent more than the amount raised a year ago.

The top fundraisers will be treated to the Inside Line Experience, an exclusive meet and greet with Villopoto, Ferry and the rest of the top riders. The entire supercross industry has stepped up to support the event with an abundance of unique items and signed memorabilia that will be put for giveaway or auction, including the grand prize Team Makita Suzuki RMZ-250, for which the winning ticket will be drawn on Saturday night at Qwest Field. An additional event will be held at Renton Motorcycles, where top supercross riders will be on hand signing autographs.

Pledge forms can be picked up and raffle tickets may be purchased at participating Suzuki dealers or online at the official website http://www.mxforchildren.org.
