The team had originally planned to do some testing on the continent but a decision to build the four Supersport and two Superstock machines to a higher specification meant that the opportunity to take them to Europe was missed and testing had to be confined to the UK.

Moto Team Manager Myles Schofield said “Unfortunately everything happened quite late for us in terms of the deal negotiated with Triumph so we have been up against time since getting the bikes.  However, I am extremely happy with how quickly things have moved since then and although it is a shame we can’t do some testing in Europe, I feel that the UK testing we have arranged will prepare us sufficiently for the start of the season”.

Map Embassy will be testing at Croft on March 14th, followed by the official test at Snetterton which will run over three days from March 22nd.  They will finalise their preparation for the start of the season with another day of testing at Oulton Park on March 26th.  All three Map Embassy riders, Glen Richards, Paul Young and AJ Venter will be testing at each of the dates and be supported by a full team of mechanics and technicians.
