Following the stage of Monza planned this weekend Honda will go on with the festivities of the Italian branch at the SantaMonica Autodrom in Misano.

Everybody is invited to finally meat their favorite models in the 2008 Honda range and there will be no entry price. That wouldn’t be a problem as the Festival has the clear purpose of allowing potential customers or simply those with a soft spot for this maker to try bikes on the road (for all) or even on the track (only for subscribers). Carefully supervised by instructors, motorcyclists will have the great opportunity to test even the brand new CB1000R Supernaked and the DN-01 featuring automatic HFT.

But as a preview for next weekend, it is well worth mentioning that tomorrow Honda Gresini San Carlo and MotoSprint in front with MotoGP pilot Alex de Angelis organize the first “Quick Guide School” on the track especially reserved for those who own the models CBR1000RR, CBR600RR, and VTR1000SP1 / 2. Fausto Gresini together with MotoSprint instructors will be taking riders through the basics related to racing in order to improve their technique, but I guess it depends on each person in particular and at the end everybody will have a little bit more skill developed for those weekend track incursions that will surely get planned.

In addition, the first 30 customers of the 2008 Fireblade and that have been booked through the weekly I’m happy to say that they will be part of this course sport driving freely.

On the karting track, there will be inaugural races for the 2008 Honda Italy Racing Project and the new Monomarca NFS100 Junior Trophy. During the free practice on Saturday and Sunday forty teenagers will animate the races with their small racing motorcycles Honda NSF100 HRC. In particular, the Junior Trophy version has been significantly enhanced by technicians of Gresini Racing.

Everybody present will receive T-shirts of the event and have the opportunity to participate on Sunday to a pleasant trip inland Romagna. Also, not worth a penny is the Safe Driving Course held at the paddock and the three freestyle shows included.

There, at the paddock of Misano, a lively Saturday evening social dinner will be organized by members of the HPAC Honda Clubs and it will include hundreds of participants.

The Honda Festival also addresses to neophytes who are offered the possibility to learn riding at the Honda Riding School which puts at their disposal small engine capacity motorcycles and scooters together with instructors. But before getting on the actual bike they will have to face the Riding Simulator which was developed by Honda and has the clear purpose of helping users improve handling and better anticipate dangers.

For those who have in plan to wear some rubber on the track, the rounds start at 9:00 and continue until 18:00 on the 10th and 11th of May. Don’t forget your complete riding gear because you are not allowed without.
