Moto Morini have announced a price reduction of £1,000($1,930) on its 1200cc 9 ½ V-twin as part of a Europe-wide strategy to establish a solid customer base for its exclusive new range of motorcycles from the legendary Italian brand.

With the OTR price now at £7,499($14,495), down from £8,499($16,430), the Morini 9 ½ is significantly less costly than other European muscle bikes, like the Aprilia Tuono, Ducati Monster S4R and Triumph Speed Triple, offering discerning customers the opportunity to on an exclusive motorcycle from a legendary brand as a serious alternative to the current crop. Morini designed the 9 ½ to be an accessible introduction to their stunning 1187 cc Bialbero CorsaCorta engine, created to eat up mile after mile of road with a combination of great performance and comfortable, easy riding.

The engine is in a softer state of tune than the Corsaro, but still produces 117 Hp at 8000 rpm, with 75lb ft of torque at 6,700rpm. It is constructed with great attention to detail - steel trellis frame, oval section swing arm, Brembo brakes, Paioli rear shocks and glorious wheels with steel channel spokes.
