Toseland’s move to MotoGP

Toseland, who is currently leading the Superbike World Championship by 43 points already proved his racing abilities in 2004 and he wishes to win the title once again this season. It would be a great ending of the Superbike chapter in his life as Yamaha announced that it has secured his services for the 2008 season.

Although he does not have any experience in any of the MotoGP categories, he said he left the depth of his experience in Superbikes should make up for that.

The British rider will begin his MotoGP career with the Yamaha factory supported organization next year.

“It was a big decision to make but I want to see where I line up against the best in the business” says James Toseland.
