In its ongoing support of the outdoors lifestyle and hunters across the country, Yamaha Outdoors announced a new Hunting Conservation sales program and gave away a Rhino 700 FI Side-by-Side (SxS) vehicle at the 30th Annual SHOT Show.

The new sales program provides discounts on Yamaha ATV and SxS vehicles that will be used to raise funds for hunting conservation groups like Ducks Unlimited, Safari Club International and the National Wild Turkey Foundation, among others.  The Rhino 700 FI was awarded to Graham Loff from Irvine, California, on behalf of Yamaha and the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) as the grand prize of the show’s “Last Blast” promotion.

Graham was very excited about winning the Rhino.  “I signed up for the contest because the Rhino was the grand prize,” he said.  “Some friends have Rhinos.  We take them out to the desert; they’re a real blast.  I can’t wait to take my girlfriend out there in the new Rhino now.”

The SHOT Show, which is owned and sponsored by the NSSF, is the world’s largest shooting, hunting and outdoor trade show each year.  For its 30th anniversary, the show was held at the Las Vegas Convention, February 2-7.  This was a record year for the SHOT Show, which attracted more than 58,000 registered attendees who visited 1,950 exhibitors spanning more than 715,000 square feet of floor space.

Yamaha has exhibited at the SHOT Show for the past four years offering its support of the outdoors industry and promoting its new products that are perfect for outdoorsmen, like the Rhino 700 FI and Grizzly 700 FI ATV with power steering.

“It is important for Yamaha Outdoors to show this high level of support for the hunting and shooting communities,” said Steve Nessl, Yamaha marketing manager who announced the winner of the Rhino 700 FI drawing on the last day of the show.  “Yamaha is proud to be a part of the SHOT Show and a part of this entire community.”
