The Aprilia SR Motard 50 draws inspiration from the supermoto models. Its sharp-cut design body lines give it a pretty aggressive look and we especially like how Aprilia’s engineers have managed to combine the practicality of a scooter with the dynamic lines of a sport bike.

Built with efficiency in mind, the Aprilia SR Motard 50 is equipped with a 50cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke single-cylinder, 4-valves engine that delivers a maximum power of 3.4 KW at 9,500 Rpm and 3.8 Nm of torque at 8,000 Rpm. The engine’s power is kept in check by an automatic transmission with centrifugal clutch.

The scooter’s large and comfortable saddle bears color-coded red fabric and sporty white stitching while the large helmet compartment is big enough even for a flip up helmet.

It is also worthy of being mentioned that the scooter rides on big, gloss black 14" wheels with five double spokes.

2014 Aprilia SR Motard 50 Features and Benefits:

Motard soul on a sports scooter

The SR Motard brings the spirit of the great Aprilia Supermotard in the SR family of sports scooters, adding enjoyment and sports sensations to daily commuting. It has an aggressive, essential and compact style which emerges in the decidedly sports design of the handlebars, in the streamlined and aggressive rear but above all in the pronounced "beak" on the front wheel (a reference to the off-road world). Starting, acceleration, pick up, agility in traffic and braking are the “weapons” of this scooter, designed for young people who like responsive and enjoyable riding.

Responsive performance and easy riding

Two modern, ecological and responsive engines allow the SR Motard to offer different solutions for sparkling and enjoyable riding in the daily urban jungle. An extremely favourable torque delivery characterises the 125cc 4-stroke version of the Aprilia SR Motard, dedicated to the over 16's and also allowing relaxed and safe medium-range travel. The extremely lively 50cc 2-stroke engine is the younger and more agile version thanks to its lightness and responsiveness.

The tubular steel frame accommodates at the front a robust, telescopic, hydraulic upside down fork while at the rear is a single hydraulic dual-effect suspension connected to the transmission group that acts as a swingarm. The large 14” wheel rims mount sports road tyres. Braking safety is guaranteed by the 220 mm front disc assisted by the powerful and adjustable 140 mm rear drum.
