The Aprilia RSV4 R APRC features a lot of high tech technologies which help it stay on top on the food chain when it comes to super sport motorcycles.

The cherry from the top is the advanced APRC (Aprilia Performance Ride Control) package, which is developed using Aprilia’s experience gathered on the race tracks.

But Aprilia RSV4 R APRC’s improvements are not limited to the electronic management system as the 65° V4 engine has also received improved lubrication and closer spaced gears for better acceleration.

To increase the Aprilia RSV4’s performances even more, Aprilia gave it a lighter exhaust which features an advanced butterfly valve management system to suit the Ride By Wire mapping for improved breathing and efficiency throughout the RPM range. The 2013 upgrades also include lighter wheels with three double-spokes.

With a long list of technical and esthetic upgrades, the 2013 Aprilia Dorsoduro is finally prepared to go head to head with the best bikes in its class including the BMW R1200GS.

At the heart of the bike lies a two cylinder unit which cranks out a maximum power of 130 hp. The engine is placed in a lightweight chassis which is carefully forged to offer superior driving dynamics.

Other technical highlights include radial Brembo callipers, hydraulic clutch, Ride by Wire with 3 different engine maps and the Matrix instrument panel with on board computer. Moreover, the Dorsoduro is also available with ABS and Aprilia Traction Control (ATC).

Also new for the 2013 model, are the fresh three split spoke wheel rims which are 2.3 kg lighter than the old 5 spoke model. Because the new rims decreased the total weight, it was possible to fully revamp the shock absorbers and suspension which are now tuned for more agility and reduce the overall height of the bike’s centre of gravity.

The Aprilia Tuono V4 APRC ruled the World Superbike Championship, so it’s one of the best naked bikes you can find on today’s market.

Power comes from a V4 engine, which delivers 167.3 hp, and is mounted on completely revised chassis architecture. The first three gear ratios are now shorter, while the maximum torque value of 111.5 Nm is on tap at 9,500 rpm, two characteristics that give the Tuono V4 R a huge power at low and mid engine speeds. The bike features triple mapping for instantly tailoring the performance and is also available with APRC.

Up front, the Aprilia Tuono V4 R APRC is fitted with an upside down fork with 43 mm diameter. There are also forged aluminium calliper mountings and a completely adjustable spring preload. The front wheel travel is rated at 120 mm.

Out back, there is double braced aluminium swingarm combined with Sachs piggy back monoshock with completely adjustable spring preload and hydraulic compression and rebound damping. The rear wheel travels is 130 mm.

As far as design goes, the new V4 R keeps the same triple light layout found at the original Tuono.

The Aprilia Dorsoduro 750 ABS received a new engine for 2013. The new generation has also received other few upgrades which make it more agile and pleasurable.

The 2013 Aprilia Dorsoduro 750 is fitted with a 750 cc 90° V-twin engine which delivers a maximum power of 92 hp at 8750 rpm and 82 Nm of torque at 4500 rpm. The engine is mounted on Aprilia’s unique mixed trellis and aluminium frame which gives it superior handling abilities.

The front breaks consist of advanced 4-piston radial calipers which bite 320 mm floating wave discs offering a short stopping time. For extra safety, the bike is also fitted with a sophisticated 2 channel Continental ABS system. Both front and rear systems features metal braided braking pipes, borrowed from the aeronautic sector. Thanks to this advanced technology, the pressure fluctuations of conventional pipes are eliminated, maximizing the breaking efficiency.

The Aprilia Mana has a pretty mixed personality and is hard to tell with if it is a powerful scooter, a city bike or an all-rounder. It seems that Aprilia doesn’t know either and names it only a “completely new motorcycle concept”.

What’s clear however is the fact that we are looking at a pretty versatile bike that has a few things to be loved for. It’s comfortable, practical and has also has enough punch to make the ride interesting.

The Aprilia Mana 850 is fitted with sequential/automatic transmission, ABS, radial brake calipers, helmet compartment and upside-down forks. You’ll also find a half-fairing which protects the rider and passenger on long journeys as well as in daily commuting making the bike suited for touring. You’ll also get an adjustable windshield and a V2 850 cc two cylinder engine that cranks out 75 hp.

The Aprilia Shiver 750 was launched in 2007 but has never been a success. Though, this doesn’t mean that the bike is less capable.

Designed for long journeys, but also for the race track, the Aprilia Shiver 750 rewards you with a pleasurable and relativelly comfortable ride.

The bike features a lightweight mixed steel trellis and aluminium side plate frame which is combined with a compact 90° V2 engine. The engine develops a peak power of 95 HP at 9000 rpm and features an advanced electronic management system which adjusts the throttle response to be suited for any type of routes.
