The new Benelli X 125 and 150 scooters draw inspiration from Benelli’s sport bikes that managed to earn a pretty good reputation in the world of motorcycle racing. Both models received a modern design language which inspires dynamism and sportiness. The sporty design of the scooters is underlined by aggressive lines of the front fairing that protrudes out onto the front tyre. We also like the aggressive-looking tunnel and the sporty fuel tank.
Benelli’s engineers have spent a lot of time to develop a perfect riding position. Thereby, the handlebars and seats were carefully designed to offer a comfortable position.
The scooters sit on 12 inch aluminium alloy rims shod in 120/70 – 12 tyres. The wheels are combined with a pretty capable suspension which consists of a front hydraulic telescopic fork and a rear double hydraulic dumper.

Overview
Benelli connotes a great sporting tradition, racing titles and countless victories in the most important motorcycling competitions. At the same time, the new scooters X125 and X150 are a tribute to the legendary races and to their practical use in daily life. The X125 and X150 have been designed to give the thrill of a sporty ride even when it means riding up to the corner store. That comes through in the aggressive lines of the front fairing that protrudes out onto the front tyre. Running along the footrest is an aggressive-looking tunnel that houses the fuel tank and continues into the side panels, which are designed with a single stroke up to the compact tail, just like a real racing bike, to top off this scooter’s design.
Even light assemblies exude a gusty spirit, as does the pair of shock absorbers with the red springs that recall the racing character of this new Benelli product. The handlebar is sized to offer the best control of the vehicle and is protected by a lightweight panel that acts as a headlight fairing with instrument panel installed below. The seat flaunts red stitching; in the same colour are stripes that further enhance the 6-spoke design of the 12” aluminium alloy rims. The graphics relaunch the logo of the model and the Benelli name on both sides.
The front and back disc in aluminium and the gold painted caliper, whereas at the back the second disc is sized more generously. The seat height is just 816 mm, which really makes it for everybody. Even the dry weight is only 113 kg and allows riders of any height and weight to easily handle the X125 and X150 and feel safe while riding it. The tank capacity is 6.2 litres, which given the bike’s fuel efficiency guarantee a good degree of autonomy.
Electric start is backed up by a practical pedal on the left side for kick starting. The frame relies on a well-tested split cradle frame in high-strength tubular steel, and the job of suspensions is given over to a hydraulic telescopic fork and an efficient set of shock absorbers.
X125 and 150 are offered in the following colour combinations: black, white and red, and will be available next year second half.
