The 2014 Beta 498 RR-Race Edition raises the bar even higher than the base 498 model in terms of looks and performance.

The motorcycle is equipped with a 497, Beta-built single cylinder, 4-valve, 4-stroke, liquid cooled engine which is fueled by a 2 gallons fuel tank. The engine transfers its power to the rear wheel by means of a six speed transmission with wet multidisc clutch.

To be able to deal effortless even with the toughest terrains, the Beta 498 RR-Race Edition features a high 12.6” ground clearance and a pair of light wheels (21” front and 18” rear) wrapped in rugged Michelin Enduro Competition tires.

Other key features offered by the Beta 498 RR-Race Edition include 48mm Marzocchi Closed Cartridge factory forks, billet aluminum foot pegs and dual map CDI ignition for dry and wet riding.
