There is no secret that BMW’s vehicles are considered among the most capable machines from the streets and there is no wonder why as they come with the latest technologies in the business and offer mind blowing performances.
BMW’s supersport motorcycles make no exception and one of the best models built by the German manufacturer is the S 1000 RR.
This stunning two wheel beast is without a doubt one of the most capable motorcycles from the streets and race tracks. It can deal effortless with windy roads, fast tracks and tight city streets, being the perfect bike for adrenaline-hungry riders.
At its heart lies a water-cooled, 4-stroke, in-line, four-cylinder-engine with two camshafts and four valves per cylinder. The engine delivers an impressive power of 193 hp at 13,000 rpm and 112 Nm of torque at 9,750 rpm.
However, power without control is useless, therefore the BMW S 1000 RR Sport comes with standard Race ABS, Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) and Gear Shift Assistance.

Overview
In the S 1000 RR, BMW present the most enhanced, dynamic and adrenaline fuelled motorcycle in the range. The RR Sport takes super sport riding to the next level, with performance enhancing features to fuel the passion of even the most demanding of track riders. But not forgetting that the RR Sport is just as true down on the racetrack as it is on the road. The RR label shows that it is a full-blooded racing bike, even though it can also be ridden on the most winding of mountain passes, or narrowest of urban streets. To top it all off is an engine which is our absolute pride and joy. And our worldwide motorsports teams agree wholeheartedly.
As standard on the RR Sport model is the first ever Race ABS, including features such as four modes, two for the road and two others - Race and Slick - for sportier riding on the race track, a banking rotation speed, and gear-related Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) which allows slip.
Race ABS, Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) and Gear Shift Assistance are provided as standard on the RR Sport model, taking performance and safety to new heights. Never before was it so easy to keep so much power under control.
