Buell Motorcycle Company launches "Inside Pass"

Buell Motorcycle Company announced a groundbreaking new Track Day Program called "Inside Pass: The Ultimate Track Day" that will open premium race tracks around the U.S. to riders of all brands and give them the opportunity to test ride the latest Buell models on-track during the event. Buell to produce motocross motorcycles?

Buell Motorcycle Company, the innovative sports motorcycle arm of Harley-Davidson Motor Company, announced to its dealers that it will produce and sell a liquid-cooled, 450cc four-stroke motocross motorcycle by 2009 – although an MXi source says that he would not be surprised if the motorcycle arrives sooner than that. “It will be a 450, and the engine is being made by Rotax,” the source said. “They showed an artist’s rendering of the bike, and I know they have been riding prototypes (...)

"Lassoing the Americas" journey accomplished

Riders Victor Carlos Testoni and Rudolfo Garcia Varlea along with passenger Catia Regina Granelli Alves took a journey across the Americas aboard two Buell Ulysses motorcycles this past year. The journey started on Sept. 19, 2006, at the U.S. Capitol, Washington D.C. From there, they traveled to Chicago and picked up legendary Route 66 which they rode across North America to Los Angeles. Buell "Super TT Trick-out" contest winner announced

The winner of the Buell "Super TT Trick-Out" contest, which encouraged riders to create their own original artwork for Buell’s newest motorcycle, the Buell Lightning Super TT XB12STT, was announced on January 29. Hundreds of detailed and highly stylized entries were submitted, but only 10 finalists were chosen by Erik Buell. Then, through on-line voting by visitors to buell.com, the winner was chosen: Paul Oliver from Largo, Fla., and his design of the globe etched in stone. (...)

Erik Buell welcomed at Larz Anderson Auto Museum in Massachusetts

The Larz Anderson Auto Museum in Brookline, Mass. welcomed Erik Buell, sportbike designer, engineer, Chairman and Chief Technical Officer of Buell Motorcycle Company on Friday, January 19, 2007. Erik spoke about his personal design philosophy and the company’s unique role as the only sportbike maker in America. Buell racers wrap up a successful 2006 season

The 2006 racing season will go down as one of the most successful on record for Buell racers and teams. Buell riders scored several national and regional championships, including the American Sportbike Racing Association (ASRA) Thunderbike Championship, the Canadian Thunder national championship, Championship Cup Series (CCS) Thunderbike National Championship, and more than a dozen regional racing titles. Craig Jones and Buell set another world record

Craig Jones, Buell Motorcycles professional extreme rider with two solo stoppie Guinness World Records, has been busy rewriting the record books and rules of extreme riding once again. This time, however, Jones has set the Guinness World Record for the longest two-man stoppie.
