Quotes

Bikepoint ---- "The engine on the 650NK is the standout, with the mapping and fuelling both on the money. There’s not one skerrick of hesitation throughout the rev range, irrespective of whether the fuel-injected engine (which meets Euro 3 specifications) is on a partial or full throttle. With no blips in the power delivery, the 70hp (59kW) and 62Nm engine is free to ply its trade without breaking stride, all with quite a raspy note."

MCtrader ---- "The 650NK’s gearing is good. On the highway it pulls a relaxed 4300rpm at 100km/h in top gear. Perfect for touring. It accelerates smoothly and reasonably strongly from 80km/h in top gear and at a pinch from 75km/h. That’s a flexible engine in my book. It’s a really honest toiler in the 3000 to 6000rpm range making it very rider-friendly and an ideal city bike. Once it passes 6000rpm there’s a distinct change in its character as it begins its rush toward the 10,000rpm redline. It’s still linear but stronger and more urgent."

motorcyclistonline ---- "Which leaves just one key aspect I couldn’t answer in my one-day Broadford bash—how well will the 650 NK wear the passage of time and miles? It’s impossible to guess after even a thorough test ride, but if it’s as well manufactured as it has been engineered, then this bike may have the same impact on the marketplace as the Honda CB450 did 47 years ago, becoming the bike that introduces Chinese motorcycles to the Western world. The NK could well be a game changer."
