The Derbi Senda RDR X-Treme 50 was designed for those who love adrenaline. The motorcycle is powered by a 49.9 cc single cylinder 2 stroke engine which cranks out 11 kW @ 9750 rpm and 11.4 Nm of torque at 7500 rpm. The motorcycle also features a tough dual beam steel chassis. On top of that it weighs only 124 kg so you can expect to a crisp acceleration and maximum performances.

To be able to tackle any terrain without backing down, the Derbi Senda DRD X is equipped with a set of versatile suspensions which offer a generous wheel travel - 245 mm at the front and 225 at the back. They consist of a front 41 mm Paioli upside-down fork and a steel rear progressive Pro-Link link rod system to which an Ollé single shock absorber is fixed with separate gas tank and adjustable spring preloading.

Overview

The Senda, available in the R and SM versions, has always been for young-at-heart riders. Bikes that exceed all expectations: the top in terms of image, technology and sports performance.

For Derbi the name Senda has always meant a road that leads to freedom, with high range off-road models which, in the DRD (Derbi Racing Development) version are the top of their category as far as concerns the equipment and technology level together with the application of cutting edge solutions, typical of bigger engine displacement models only. Already dominating the streets in the 50 cc and 2S category, in the 125 4S sector they are the top in their engine displacement range and, as usual, they are available in the R (Enduro) and SM (Motard) versions.

Both models have the same chassis, a sophisticated high-resistant dual beam steel chassis derived from the one used in the Terra family.

Although the bike has a sports character and extensive travel suspensions (245 mm at the front and 225 at the back), particular attention has been given to aspects such as saddle height which, thanks to the Freestyle inspired design, is lower compared to other brands (905 mm for the R version and 880 mm for the SM version). With these features, combined with a record weight for its category - 124 Kg only - it was possible to further enhance the daily functions of both models. Top quality components are used for both the front and rear suspensions, as usual for the Derbi DRD range. A 41 mm Paioli upside-down fork is used at the front while the steel rear fork at the back exploits a progressive Pro-Link link rod system to which an Ollé single shock absorber is fixed with separate gas tank and adjustable spring preloading.

Wheels and brakes make the difference between the R and SM versions. While the Enduro R has 21" at the front and 18” at the back off-road tyres, the Motard SM has 17" street rims on both wheels with street tyres. There are differences in the complete braking system as far as concerns the front disc, with a Galfer Wave profile and 260 mm for the off-road model and an oversized 300 mm traditional disc for the street version. Both models boast powerful and reliable twin-plunger calliper and front radial mounting, while at the back they both have a Galfer Wave 220 mm disc with single plunger calliper.
