Its 748 cc Testastretta engine supplies 108 hp at 10,000 rpm and 8.2 kgm (59.3 lb-ft) of torque at 8,500 rpm with constantly smooth, linear power delivery The L-twin Testastretta engines are very compact, making the finished motorcycles incredibly narrow and agile, much like their racing cousins. They also offer excellent torque and remarkably vigorous power delivery compared to four cylinder engines. Ducati Superbikes have incredible acceleration and provide outstanding riding thrills. In addition to the Testastretta engine and the signature trellis frame, the features of the 749 are the culmination of decades of development and research derived from racing victories: advanced electronics, state-of-the-art ergonomics and the best aerodynamics in their class. The 749 chassis set-up comprises a fully adjustable upside down Showa fork with Sachs rear shock, which is also fully adjustable, offering precision handling to meet the expectations of each and every rider.
