After unveiling the 2011 Diavel two months ago, Ducati is already offering a special edition for it: Diamond Black. As the name suggests, this edition Ducati replaces the originally presented pearl white with a brand new diamond black with black frame. The new scheme will be further enhanced with black anodized headlamp body and lateral air intakes. It will be available starting February next year. The new Diavel is powered by a Ducati Testastretta 11° engine - developed directly from the incredibly powerful, world-beating race engines of Ducati Corse. With its 162hp and colossal 94lb-ft (127.5Nm) of torque, the Diavel Testastretta 11° engine is all about authentic Ducati Desmodromic performance. The revised intake and exhaust ports combined with radical adjustment of the cam timing have enabled Ducati to achieve a fantastic torque curve at low rpm, which remains strong through a wider rev-range. Press release after the jump. Press release Unveiled by Ducati at the Milan International Motorcycle Show last month, the innovative new Ducati Diavel will now also roll out in a stunning diamond black colour scheme following huge interest from enthusiastic show visitors. 9 comments: Ducati Diavel Diamond Black I love this special edition of Ducati motorcycle, which replaced the original pearl white motorcycle. The diamond black color sounds unique and so with the look.
I guess this was they called the ’big toys for big boys’!I really love the platform of the vehicle and it makes the bike quite awesome with its speed performance.
Yes I agree, it seems that Ducati is just continuing on what they have started. This full black theme bike really is head turner. And it’s incredible speed I bet everyone want to drive this bike.
The Diavel Diamond is rather eye catching. Ducati definitely made it big with this once again. Hope that the company continues with this trend.
I agree with Neevers. This is a poor take on the V-Max/V-Rod design theme. Ducati screwed up with this one. Probably sell boat loads of them.
Dude the front of that thing looks very close to that harley. They aren’t the same type of bike, yeah I get that, but they do LOOK similar. The rear ends are totally different. I’m sorry this thing is ugly.
black livery replaces the originally presented white offering. The new black scheme will also be further enhanced with a black anodized headlamp body and lateral air intakes.
The new black diamond color has already been incorporated into production plans and will be available alongside the entire Diavel range this February at authorized Ducati dealerships.
