2007 Harley-Davidson FXSTC Softail Custom

  Review

The new FXSTC Softail Custom offers the ultimate ride for those who want to kick back with their feet stretched out for a comfortable solo ride, or with a passenger. The new Twin Cam 96B engine and 6-speed Cruise Drive transmission enhances the ride, while the combination of laid-back chopper-inspired style and the comfort of a two-up seat and backrest is sure to stand out on the street.

The Softail Custom goes wide with a 200mm rear tire on a Polished Slotted Disc Forged Aluminum wheel wrapped by a traditional Bobtail fender. A polished stainless steel ape-hanger handlebar towers over a Fat Bob fuel tank adorned with triple laid custom decals and embossed leather tank strap.

A bullet-style headlamp rides over a standard 21-inch Chrome Profile Laced Aluminum front wheel. With chrome details adorning the new powertrain, the only thing the Softail Custom brings from the past is its name. Choose from three solid and four two-tone color schemes, plus three two-tone custom color options.

Hi, I have a 2007 fxstc, my first bike ever and i love it, 7500 miles 10 months. I have done quite a bit of work to it, but the one thing i can’t bring myself to do is put saddle bags on, has any one found an alternative to the $800.00 Harley detachable bags?, that look acceptable.

Great looking bike but i’m only 5’8’’. Think i’ll fit OK? I’m overseas and don’t have a chance to ride it before I buy it. Ridden lots of Heritage Classics and I do fine on them.

This bike comes with a great one piece seat that incorporates a back rest for the the driver as well as one for the passenger. Go see it at your local showroom, I did and I’m ready to trade up from my Sportster 1200 custom.

DOES THE DRIVERS BACKREST COME WITH THE BIKE, OR DO YOU BUY THAT EXTRA, AND IF SO HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? WHAT COULD YOU SELL ME A 2 TONE FXSTC FOR?
