just bought a crf 230 and love it. i have a 450 KTM exc and i have more fun on this bike. it’ll climb rocky trails with the best of them. as far as speed? who needs speed in the woods/single track? man this is a nice bike. i think i’ll sell the ktm..i don’t race anymore and besides this small bore baby is a blast to ride!!!!!

The crf 230 goes at a speed of 160km for 200 ibs and top end at about 190km speed varies depending on weight.

the CRF 230 is an amasing bike its literly indistructable its very fast for a trail bike with the 6th gera that i cant even hit because its just wy to in fast. the bikes suspention depends on rider whight if ur any where from 120-150 its a great bike any thing over that prepare 4 a rough ride becuase u will aways be bottomed out. and 2 any other CRF 230 riders out there i recoment taking that peace of baffle out of your muffler. with thiat thing in its like ur bike is breathing threw a straw!!. i took mine out in increased engine braking preformance and it soaund great I highly recoment u do that all you have 2 do is get a star screw driver and its on the side of the tip of your muffler it schould pop right out if u pull it. i also hurd that BBR makes after market springs for bothe the front and rear suspention i will be trying them out soon there 30% stiffer then stock. so if your an agressive rider like me whos 143 IBS and want 2 hit jumps GET THEM!... but htis bike is awsome overall

Hi there,
I have had my CRF230F for almost a year now.
I am a big person, about 225 pounds, would you recommend getting a brand new suspension?
or just a bigger bike?
please email me at
stewie_Griffin_3000@

how fast does the crf230f accually go? email me at master_bate@

well how fast approximentaly does it go with a person 200lbs

I just bought a 2006 Honda CRF230F and its curb weight is 238lbs and it should be able to get good speed and trail capability with a person weighing up to 220lbs

Hi I would like to know if the crf230f would make a good all around bike for a person around 200 pounds I havent had a dirt bike in 12 years and I know have a son that I started to teach to ride on a crf50f and I want to ride again. I have read a lot of stuff about the crf models and the price is great for a bike that size but I read it is for riders around 150 pounds. can some one email me some info please owdiss@
