Honda revealed the 2014 version of its CRF50F. The model is aimed at the beginner riders and offers a perfect balance between agility, easy handling and power.
Talking about power, the 2014 CRF50F comes with an air-cooled, single-cylinder, SOHC, four-stroke, two valve engine with a displacement of 49cc. The engine is mated on a “newbie-friendly” three speed transmission with automatic clutch. Moreover, to be more versatile, the CRF50F has received an adjustable throttle limiter which helps you adjust the engine’s power according to the rider’s skills.
For the tough dirty tracks the Honda CRF has received a set of tough suspensions which help it keep the rider out of trouble during the most difficult sections.
As far as prices are concerned, the 2014 Honda CRF50 has a MSRP of $1,399, comes with a six months warranty and is available from October, 2013.

Overview
Get Started In The Right Gear.
Availability: October, 2013. There’s a good reason Honda’s CRF50F is probably the world’s most popular beginner bike. A whole bunch of great reasons, actually. First, its bulletproof engine develops the kind of smooth, easy-to-use power first-timers really need. Its three-speed transmission with automatic clutch is newbie-friendly, and its tough suspension stands up to the use (and abuse!) of first-time riders. The CRF50F has features like an adjustable throttle limiter so you can tailor the power to your rider’s skills. That kind of thoughtful engineering, long-term overall quality and a whole lot more are what make the CRF50F a Honda.
Important Safety Information: Parents need to consider their youngster’s age, size, ability and maturity before allowing them to ride. Designed exclusively for off-road operator-only use. Always wear a helmet, eye protection and protective clothing whenever you ride. Never ride under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Beginner’s Luck.
A beginner's bike should still be fun to ride, and the CRF50F is a blast. Powered by a smooth, easy-to-control 49cc four-stroke engine, it’s built Honda tough, too.
Know Your Limits.
The CRF50F has an adjustable throttle limiter, so you can decide how much power your rider can use. It’s simple for you to adjust too.
Automatically Better.
With its automatic clutch, new riders never have to worry about stalling a CRF50F. That lets them concentrate on learning the fundamentals of riding and control. Simple is simply better.

Verdict
Since it made its debut over a decade ago, the CRF50F has received only small upgrades. Most of them aimed the style and ergonomics departments ,so the year 2014 doesn’t bring any major upgrades either.
But this is not as bad as it sounds, as the motorcycle didn’t actually need any massive improvements. Its 49 cc engine is perfect for learning the secrets of dirt riding, while the suspensions and brakes are also perfectly suited for the purpose of this compact motorcycle.
You’ll also like the user-friendly automatic transmission and the adjustable throttle limiter. It is also worthy of being mentioned that the engine is extremely low maintenance and not high-strung in order to last a long time.
