However, Husqvarna decided to raise the bar even higher and put its engineers to work once more. As a result, the new 2013 Husqvarna TE 310 R comes with a completely reworked engine which offers more torque and power through the whole rev range.
These performances were achieved by using a new cylinder head and Keihin injection. Besides the improved power and torque levels, the changes also affect the ignition lock and the hot-start-lever which are no longer needed.
On the safety side of things the 2013 Husqvarna TE 310 R receives standard handlebar protection, stiffer radiators and a magnet in the crankcase oil plug. You also get softer handgrips for the handlebar.

Overview
n the 2011 season of the Enduro World Championship E2 class, Antoine Meo dominated the comptetitors with his TE 310. This year's season the Fin Juha Salminen continues this heritage. The TE 310R combines the easy handling of a 250 4-stroke Enduro bike with additional power and torque thanks to additional displacement. On the race tracks of the world the TE 310 has proved that it can easily compete with bikes of bigger displacements. This year the engineers of Husqvarna have reworked the engine completly with the result to have more torque and power through the whole rev range.
New Cylinder head for more power and torque
This year also the TE 310R received the readhead and the Keihin injection. These changes give the bike more power and torque through the whole rev range. Also thanks to these changes and ingition lock and the hot-start-lever are no longer needed.
Improvements all over the bike
The handlebarprotection which is serial euqipment of this bike increases the safety of the riding. But also the stiffer radiators and the magnet in the crankcase oil plug gurantee more reliablity. The lightest bike in its class is now euqippet with softer handgrips which are glued on the handlebar.
