The 2013 Husqvarna Nuda 900 is the less aggressive version of the Nuda 900 R and is aimed at those who want a more relaxed riding experience.

The motorcycle is powered by the same 898 cc water cooled 4-stroke in-line two-cylinder engine which also propels Nuda 900R. In terms of performances, the engine has enough power to send the motorcycle to a maximum speed of over 200 km/h.

Other similarities between the two models include the exposed trellis frame, high-level exhaust and sporty style.

As far as differences are concerned, the 2013 Husqvarna Nuda 900 comes with a lower ride height, softer 48mm Sachs front forks and a smoother feel, fully-adjustable Sachs monoshock double-level seat.

The stopping power is assured by Brembo four-piston radial calipers.

The Husqvarna Nuda 900R is a versatile motorcycle that offers a great handling at both low and high speeds.

It was developed jointly with BMW Motorrad, to offer a fairly fun riding experience; therefore it is packed with all the technologies expected from a modern crossover motorcycle.

At its heart lies a water cooled 4-stroke in-line two-cylinder engine with two overhead camshafts and dry sump lubrication. The engine’s power is rated at 77 kW (105 hp) at 8,500 rpm and 100 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm.

The motorcycle’s backbone is represented by a torsionally rigid and lightweight tubular space frame made of steel. This frame sits on high quality suspensions which further enhance the motorcycle’s handling abilities.

To be able to deal effortless with any type of terrain, the Husqvarna Nuda 900R is equipped with 17 inch wheels wrapped in 120/70 ZR 17 front and 180/55 ZR 17 rear tyres.

The 2012 model Husqvarna TE250 is fitted with a single cylinder, twin cam, 4 valve titanium engine. The engine weighs only 22 kg which makes it the lightest unit in its class. Among the most important features offered by the engine we note the Mikuni fuel injection that feeds the cylinder head through a 42 mm throttle body, double mapping and the electric starting backed up by the classic kickstarter.

The 2012 model comes with a completely redesigned exhaust system, which further improves the engine’s performance.

Power is sent to the rear wheel through a 6 speed gearbox which is paired with a hydraulically controlled clutch.

The 2013 Husqvarna TE250 rides on 48 mm forks and a new rear Kayaba monoshock which is externally adjustable for low/high speeds in compression and rebound. The setting of the fork has been completely redesigned to match the new shock, with new springs and internal settings.

The 2012 WR250 is one the newest Husqvarna bikes powered by a 250 cc engine. The motorcycle benefits from the same styling updates common to the 2012 range: chassis painted black, anodised silver Excel hubs and redesigned graphics. There is hardly any other motorcycle brand able to boast a 108-year tradition of motorcycle production and racing like that of Husqvarna. The first Husqvarna motorcycles were built in 1903, with victory coming just 13 years later in 1916 at one of best known enduro races of the time, the Novemberkåsan. This laid the foundation for a success story which remains unparalleled to this day.

While the thirties also saw victories in road racing, too, it was after the Second World War that Husqvarna achieved a major breakthrough in off-road racing. In the early fifties, the company not only focussed on developing and manufacturing innovative, competitive and reliable motorcycles but also made a clear commitment to its involvement in the areas of motocross and enduro racing. Husqvarna won its first world championship in the class up to 250 cc in 1959, collecting the same title in the 500 cc category just two years later.

Ongoing success in racing made Husqvarna a sought-after brand with increasing sales figures not just in Europe but also in the USA. The enormous popularity of Husqvarna was enhanced by famous riders such as Mikkola, Aberg and Hallman, but there was one outstanding celebrity fan: American actor Steve McQueen. McQueen was not just an enthusiastic motorcyclist and motor racing fan, he also achieved success himself on the race track on both two and four wheels. Among other things he entered the Six Days in 1964. The title photo of the US magazine "Sports Illustrated" dated August 23rd 1971 showing a bare-topped Steve McQueen doing a jump on a Husqvarna 400 Motocross remains legendary to this day. The McQueen-Husqvarna combination eventually became the idol of a whole generation of off-road fans.

The Husqvarna TE310 was chosen by the French champion Antoine Meo to compete in the E2 enduro category. Despite the fact that the motorcycle had a pretty weak engine compared with the ones of its rivals, it managed to outplay them thanks to its outstanding handling and the perfect balance between performance, weight and maneuverability.

The bike is powered by a lightweight (22kg) 302.4 cc engine, which makes it the lightest in its category. The basic design remained unchanged for 2012: single cylinder, twin cam, with 4 titanium valves, Mikuni electronic injection with 45 mm throttle body and double CDI mapping, selectable by a switch on the handlebars. However, the 2012 engine is combined with a newly developed exhaust system which further improves performance.

The frame is technically a mixture of round, oval and rectangular tubing, and remained unchanged as it was already modified in last year’s model.

After Husqvarna stated to be part of the BMW Group, the company’s motorcycles received a boost of new technologies which help them rise even higher in the motorcycle’s food chain.

Perhaps it goes without saying that the Husqvarna CR65 has also received a lot of attention from BMW’s technicians, and now has everything it needs to be considered one of the most capable compact off roaders in its class.

The Husqvarna CR 65 is propelled by a lightweight 64.90 cc which is perfect for those who are starting to learn how to ride a powerful motorcycle. The single cylinder unit is water cooled, has two radiators and a large Mikuni 24 mm carburetor. Power is sent to the rear wheel though a 6 speed gearbox combined with a clutch with hydraulic command, for more sensitivity and less strain on the rider.

The 2012 Husqvarna TC250 was developed using Husqvarna’s experience gained at the World MX2 Championship. The collaboration between the factory R&D technicians and the Ricci Racing team resulted into significant upgrades made to the engine and the mechanical design.

The motorcycle’s DOHC, 4-valve liquid-cooled, 49.5cc engine now features a modern design and is the most compact and lightest in its category. Among the numerous upgrades made to the new engine we want to note the completely redesigned twin cam valve train which comes with four titanium valves and a different piston.

The injection has also been completely changed, while the electronic ignition and the exhaust are new too.

Moreover, stability and maneuverability are improved by the new Kayaba monoshock with externally adjustable damping (high/low speed compression and rebound). The fork is also Kayaba and the preload has been changed to a firmer setting.

The 2012 Husqvarna CR125 has received a series of upgrades for 2012 which help it remain ahead of the pack.

The most significant upgrade is the new single cylinder two-stroke engine which is technically an updated version of the old one. The new unit features Mikuni TMX38 carburettor, V-Force reed valve, the same clutch bell-housing as the 4-stroke TC250, ultra-light exhaust and silencer and better protection of the filter box underside.

The engine is mounted on a semi-perimeter frame made of chrome-molybdenum steel tubing. The frame features a black paint job which gives the entire motorcycle a pretty aggressive stance. What’s more interesting however, is the fact that the frame has now reinforcement plates at the steering-head area.

As far as suspensions go, the 2012 Husqvarna CR125 comes with a 48 mm Kayaba fork, hydraulically adjustable for both rebound and compression damping, and a rear Sachs monoshock.
