The KTMvision to build a street motorcycle is a convincing success.
So convincing in fact that a couple of weeks after the Tokyo Motor Show it is decided to go for series production.
So now future owners of the series RC8 will be introduced to their new machines at international motorcycle trade fairs in 2007.
We see properly MotoGP style exhaust, the swingarm is a gorgeous piece of aluminium work, the usual KTM angular bodywork, a steel trellis frame and the V-twin motor hidden behind the plastic.
Informed speculation suggests 160bhp-plus from the reworked 1,150cc motor.
This is exciting stuff and we just can’t wait to see it and test it.
