OVERVIEW

The KTM 125 EXC 2013 is the ideal bike for youngsters in the E1 class and all those seeking ultra-easy handling, minimum weight and lowest acquisition and maintenance costs. Its renowned high performance sets the benchmark in this class.

BODYWORK

The KTM 125 EXC 2013 has bodywork with extremely slim ergonomics and excellent contact points between rider and machine. It provides unlimited freedom of movement. Newly styled graphics give the new models a fresher appearance.

INDIVIDUAL SUSPENSION SETTING

The KTM 125 EXC has its own individual suspension setting in MY 2013, optimally tuned to weight and engine. At the rear, a PDS shock absorber from WP Suspension works with a direct linkage to the upper side of the swingarm. The wide range of setting options for rebound damping and high- and low-speed compression damping are standard on KTM bikes.

TELESCOPIC FORK, NEW SETTING

The latest generation of fully adjustable 48 mm open-cartridge fork "Made in Austria" by WP Suspension provides the highest levels of responsiveness with even more constant damping characteristics. Not least due to the use of a new fork oil and new fork seal rings.

HIGH QUALITY WHEELS

High quality, CNC-machined hubs are standard on all KTM wheels. The now black coated spokes increase corrosion resistance and centre the new, extremely stable, 7050 aluminium rims from GIANT. New MAXXIS FIM tyres - specially developed for KTM - provide excellent traction, very precise directional control and a long service life.

AIRBOX

The airbox on the KTM 125 EXC model year 2013 allows maximum air to pass through, but minimal dust and spray. Replacement of the twin-air filter takes approx. 15 seconds, without any tools. Absolutely "READY TO RACE".

FRAME

In its enduro models, KTM relies on frames made from high quality, lightweight, chrome-molybdenum steel profiles. Contrary to the trend for aluminium frames from other manufacturers, we supply the KTM 125 EXC 2013 with a high-tech steel frame. Not only is it more stable, but also approx. 0.5 kg lighter than those of the competition. Moreover, it's easier to maintain and provides more space for mounting the fuel tank and other components. In conjunction with the rear PDS damping system, shocks from the rear wheel are absorbed and optimally dissipated. With its revolutionary geometry, the ultra-light, single-piece, die-cast aluminium swingarm provides ultimate torsional stiffness on the one hand and targeted flexibility for maximum suspension comfort on the other.
