INDIVIDUAL SUSPENSION SETTING

Each EXC model has its own individual suspension settings, optimally tuned to weight and engine. At the rear, a PDS shock absorber from WP Suspension works with a direct linkage to the upper side of the swingarm. The wide range of setting options for rebound damping and high- and low-speed compression damping are standard on KTM bikes.

TELESCOPIC FORK, NEW SETTING

KTM Six Days models are equipped with a completely redesigned, 48 mm closed-cartridge fork from WP Suspension in 2013. The new 4-chamber technology (4CS) patented by WP not only provides a key benefit in terms of responsiveness and consistent damping characteristics, it is also lighter and oil services prove to be far simpler than on the conventional closed-cartridge versions. This fork overcomes extremely rutted tracks and other such major obstacles with the greatest of ease. Another benefit: The fork can be adapted to track and rider in a matter of clicks at the top of the fork: compression damping on the left-hand shaft, rebound damping on the right.

HIGH QUALITY WHEELS

High quality, CNC-machined hubs are standard on all KTM wheels. The new, extremely stable, 7050 aluminium rims from GIANT now bear exclusive Six Days lettering. New MAXXIS FIM tyres - specially developed for KTM - provide excellent traction, very precise directional control and a long service life.

TRIPLE CLAMPS

Meticulously finished triple clamps machined from a solid block are fitted to all Six Days models in 2013. Not only do they look classy in anodised orange; above all, they are designed in such a way that they support the responsiveness and sliding behaviour of the new fork and ultimately have a positive effect on the entire handling.

AIRBOX

The airbox on the KTM 125 EXC Six Days allows maximum air to pass through in MY 2013, but minimal dust and spray. Replacement of the twin-air filter takes approx. 15 seconds, without any tools. Absolutely "READY TO RACE".

FRAME

In its enduro models, KTM relies on frames made from high quality, lightweight, chrome-molybdenum steel profiles. Contrary to the trend for aluminium frames from other manufacturers, we supply the KTM 125 EXC Six Days with a high-tech steel frame in MY 2013. Not only is it more stable, but also approx. 0.5 kg lighter than those of the competition. Moreover, it's easier to maintain and provides more space for mounting the fuel tank and other components. In conjunction with the rear PDS damping system, shocks from the rear wheel are absorbed and optimally dissipated. With its revolutionary geometry, the ultra-light, single-piece, die-cast aluminium swingarm provides ultimate torsional stiffness on the one hand and targeted flexibility for maximum suspension comfort on the other.

BODYWORK

The KTM 125 EXC Six Days has bodywork with extremely slim ergonomics and excellent contact points between rider and machine. It provides unlimited freedom of movement. For MY 2013, the bike stands out with newly styled graphics in the colours of the ISDE in Germany.
