KTM has taken the wraps off its 2014 250 XCF-W. The motorcycle comes with a set of upgrades which help it remain among the top dogs in its segment.
The main upgrade is the all new 4, stroke DOHC engine that delivers more torque than the old unit helping you deal better with tough tracks. KTM says that apart from the new unit, the 2014 model year also comes with a tweaked frame and a fresh bodywork. The modified bodywork elements include the shrouds, airbox cover, front fender, headlight fairing and the headlight.
The engine is linked to a new 6-speed enduro gear box that comes with shorter gear ratios in 4th, 5th and 6th gear than the old unit.
As far as suspensions are concerned, the 2014 KTM 250 XCF-W rides on a front WP Suspension Up Side Down fork and a rear WP Suspension shock absorber.
