The Kymco Downtown 125i shares the same design with the Downtown 300, but it is powered by a smaller displacement unit namely a 124.8cc, 4 stroke OHC, liquid cooled unit which puts out a maximum power of 14.7 Ps at 9000 rpm (ps/rpm) and 11.6 Nm of torque at 7000 rpm.
As far as practicality is concerned, the Kymco Downtown 125i is equipped with a generous under-seat storage place which can swallow two full face helmets and a front glove box which includes a 12-volt battery charger.
The scooter rides on 14 inch front and 13 inch rear rims which are wrapped in 120/80-14 and 150/70-13 tubeless tires.
Other features include 5 module adjustable rear dual suspension system, an aggressive twin headlight, a 12.5 liter fuel tank, a large tail light and a tire pressure sensor system. Moreover there is also available an optional ABS system.
