The Griso 1100 is a true masterpiece on wheels, a dynamic work of art, and an expression of thoroughbred Italian creativity. This definition-defying and innovative marvel well deserves to carry the sign of the Guzzi eagle. As befits the latest heir to Moto Guzzi’s unique motorcycling tradition, the Griso 1100 embodies advanced technical solutions and bold styling. An imposing tubular frame embracing the fuel tank, side panels extending forwards like two arms, and exhaust collector pipes enveloping the engine are the most distinctive features of this exclusive design. The seating position and the wide handlebars ensure maximum control and rapid direction changes not only in city traffic but on twisting mountain roads too. The Griso benefits from the impeccable high speed stability of a long wheelbase, but is still surprisingly agile thanks to its top quality chassis. Its steel frame is both rigid and responsive and its fully adjustable suspension adapts to all road and load conditions. The Griso 1100 is powered by a meaty, responsive 90° V twin, a latest generation engine that has been completely updated and conforms to Euro3 standards. Adrenaline pumping torque is delivered to the rear wheel in a silky smooth and jerk-free manner by Moto Guzzi’s patented CA.R.C. compact reactive shaft drive system. The sound of the Guzzi engine defies all comparison. The imposing exhaust system with twin pipe collectors and stainless steel silencer emits an enthralling deep throb when the engine is idling. As the miles clock up on the futuristic display of the onboard computer, the Griso never passes unobserved in its elegant livery of Guzzi Black, Corsa Red, or seductive new Satin Orange.

Quotes

Bikez ---- "An imposing tubular frame embracing the fuel tank, side panels extending forwards like two arms, and exhaust collector pipes enveloping the engine are the most distinctive features of this exclusive design. The seating position and the wide handlebars ensure maximum control and rapid direction changes not only in city traffic but on twisting mountain roads too."

Visordown ---- "The production Griso is not a watered-down version of the striking concept bike that was unveiled at the Munich Show three years ago, either. The first thing that struck me after seeing the line of black V-twins outside the Mandello factory was that this is that rare beast, a production bike that looks better than the prototype. Part of the reason for that is that they’ve stuck so faithfully to the original lines, with the big aircooled motor’s impact emphasised by large-diameter steel frame tubes; and with fat tyres plus that huge, conical single silencer that makes a virtue of Euro3 necessity."
