Moto Morini has revamped its Ganrpasso 1200 model for 2014. The new model comes with a fresh Carbon look, new passenger handle grips, an integrated rack and a new plate holder.
At the heart of the motorcycle lies a potent V twin oversquare engine, which features one-piece central sump, mixed gear-chain drive and dual overhead camshaft. The unit is paired with a six speed transmission and delivers a maximum power of 118 hp at 8400 rpm and 103.6 Nm of torque at 7000 rpm.
The engine is housed by a high tensile tubular steel trellis frame which is paired with a Marzocchi Upside Down fork and a fully adjustable Ohlins shock absorber.
The stopping power is handled by a modern Brembo breaking system which includes 298 mm double-discs at the front and a rear 255 mm mono-disc.

Granpasso 1200, a classical Enduro with a new Carbon look.
The new Granpasso 1200 MY2014 lets you enjoy long journeys with a bike's high material quality: starting from this year, the Granpasso 1200 is equipped with standard carbon parts, for a unique and extreme look.
• Standard APTC clutch: for a soft ride by keeping every horsepower!

• New passenger handle grips: new metal handle grips, for a more comfortable and safe riding experience. The ergonomic form of the handle grips allows the biker to install Moto Morini new side and rear rigid bags with the help of a brand new frame.

• New integrated rack: it allows you to install Moto Morini new Granpasso rigid lateral bags.

Design:
The new Carbon look makes the bike even more aggressive: the essential beauty of this Enduro joins a high quality materials choice. The front view with front cowl, twin front separated headlight and fender, sends out determination and sportiness; similar sensations are conveyed by other stylistic choices, as the one to incorporate direction indicator lamps into the bodywork.The new passenger’s handle grips give more safety and comfort in every atmospheric condition.
Engine:
The historical Moto Morini 120 hp V twin oversquare engine, characterised by the innovative base with one-piece central sump, mixed gear-chain drive and dual overhead camshaft. 54 mm double throttle body. A great engine that makes the Granpasso a highly performing motorbike.
Chassis:
The Scrambler proposes an extremely easy yet intuitive frame. Its kernel is the high tensile tubular steel trellis frame.
Suspension:
Marzocchi Upside Down Ø50 stalk for the front section and Ohlins shock absorber for the rear section, fully adjustable in all its functions.

The Granpasso brakes ensure the best riding safety and allow the biker to fully enjoy the Granpasso without any worry, thanks to the quality of Moto Morini partner Brembo.
