Meet the new 2014 Polaris Scrambler XP 1000 EPS. With a starting price of $13,299 this new ATV is certainly not cheap but we’ll have to admit that is packed with a comprehensive list of special features that not only help it deal effortless with any type of terrain but also give it a fairly unique personality.

We especially like its radical style with many aggressive lines that manage to give it a pretty imposing stance. The angular body is paired with a set of grippy 14” 489 II performance tires that were especially designed for to maximize traction in mud and on loose terrain.

As far as power is concerned, the Scrambler XP 1000 EPS sports a 952cc, 4-stroke, SOHC, twin cylinder engine that delivers a maximum output of 89 hp. The engine sends its power to the wheels by means of an automatic transmission which features parking, forward and reverse gears, as well as dual ratio operation.

For enhanced handling abilities Polaris equipped its 2014 Scrambler XP 1000 with an electronic power steering system. You also get 11.5" (29 cm) of ground clearance, dual exhaust, Fox Podium X 2.0 shocks and an independent rear suspension.

The powerful 4-stroke 1000 engine represents the next generation of power for the Scrambler. Based upon the proven 850 twin, the fuel-injected big bore features a 270-degree offset crankshaft and dual balance shafts for in-your-face power that remains incredibly smooth and vibration free.

Still the best automatic 4x4 system out there, the AWD engages all four tires when the rear wheels slip and you need more forward traction. Reverts back to 2WD when you don’t.
