Suzuki released the first details on the new 2013 GW250 model. The bike is powered by a 248cc, SOHC, twin cylinder, liquid cooled engine that offers a maximum output of 26 hp and 25.3 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheel by means of a six speed transmission.
The bike has a total weight of 182 kg and a fuel tank capacity of 3.6 gallons. The stopping power is assured by front and rear disc brakes.
As far as design goes, the new GW250 features a pretty unique style and borrows many lines form the Suzuki B-King model.
The Suspension consists of a front non-adjustable fork combined with an adjustable rear shock. The Suzuki GW250 will be available in showrooms at the beginning of 2013 with a starting price of $4099. The bike competes against models like the Kawasaki Ninja 300 and Honda CBR250R.
