Suzuki GSXR 750

When the first GSX-R750 was introduced more than two decades ago, it defined an entirely new category of motorcycle: The true racer replica. For more than 20 years, the GSX-R750 has been a direct link between the racetrack and the street.

It is a revolutionary motorcycle that changed production- based racing forever. Filling racing paddocks around the globe, and driving would-be competitors from the grid. A machine so dominant that other brands abandoned the 750cc racing class because they could not compete.

The GSX-R slogan, Own The Racetrack, is based solidly in fact. Say GSX-R75O, and the world thinks of a racebike with lights, with the best possible balance of engine and chassis performance.

For 2006, the latest version of the legendary GSX-R7SO continues to relentlessly advance high-performance technology. Combining the responsive torque and broad, smooth powerband of a heavyweight with the compact size and easier handling of a middleweight. Now more compact . More powerful. More aerodynamic.

Built to Own The Racetrack.

With street equipment added

Just got a 98 gsxr750 last night for $1500, I have a 07 cbr1000rr and it’s not fair to compare....but damn it’s got kick! Revs are instant! I wonder what the newer ones are like.... Time to Test drive..... Btw, why does it have a choke?it’s fuel injected....?

I run a 02 GSX-R 750 black and yellow. Just about 10000 has been put into it. From a full system Tri-Oval TRS exhaust to a 1000 front end conversion. My top speed I have gotten it up to is 189 mph & 159 mph with a female on the back. It rides so smooth and handles magnificantly around corners at high speeds. This was and is my first bike, but not the first bike I ever rode. Can’t say no more, except this is a amazing bike.

It always annoys me when I read how cheap bikes are.. until I remember I probably don’t have enough common sense to ride one well.

So I recently bought a stock 02 750, amazing bike by the way...My buddy has a Honda 954 that has bolt on Akapovic Exhaust and a power commander . I have not found a gear where he can leave me behind and not only that but its a nose to nose tight race on straight track from launch, though I do lose those races. But mountain riding the liter bike gets smashed. The power through the full RPM range is the key for this bike. The Honda has a lag and less RpM range red line @ 12 and GSXR is @ 14. I must say out of the Box the GSXR 750 is the best sportbike Ive been on to this point, and arguably the reason Suzuki is the only one producing the 750 now. Handeling is amazing and the power band is spot on @ 5500 through 1400 with no flat spots through all 6 gears. This bike is Fantastic and has very little problems staying with the big boys. Thank you Suzuki

I recently bought a 1998 GSXR-750, and I absolutely love it. I raced a 2007 R6 and blew it out of the water. It is incredable that even an old bike can keep up with the latest and greatest bikes. GSXR all the way!!

i bought a 02 gsxr 750 in june of last year love it it kills all the 600s and will hang with the 1000s and handles like a wet dream put on a slip on akrapovic corbon fiber pipe set of pilot power 2ct went one tooth down on front sproket up one on back it will out accelorate about anything through 4th gear im sure it may have hurt the top speed but dont know havent topped it out yet

My 1998 Gsxr-750 SRAD went 182 on the highway yesterday. And it has 30 thousand miles on it. I’m sure the newer ones go faster?

also just to add to my last comment, top speed of 191mph, insane!

I ride a ’07 gixxer 750 with two brothers exaust, f1 race filter, and power commander. I have yet to be challenged at the race track! Fastest bike i have ever been on. Reacently raced a ’08 busa and smoked it!
Great Bike!!!!

I have the navy blue and black gsxr750 k7 isle of man tt model stunning bike fast as! great on the twisties here in scotland, takin the beast to oz with me, and the bike too!

Listen up,

I ride an ’01 750 and I put in in the twisties with the best and hang with and rest. "Best Sportbike Ever" says Sportrider Mag and I believe them. Full Yoshi, PC3, 520 conv and TRE. Put it on Power Pilots and go get ’em. More importantly I can ride. A fast bike means nothing without the skill to control it. Keep it on two wheels when you can and ride to the fullest.

I used to have a K4 GSXR 1000, mate it some power and it handled. I am receiving delivery of a GSXR750 K7 tomorrow arvo and looking foward to comparing it with the 1000.

I just bought a 06 GSXR 750. I really love this bike. It is so easy to ride. It could make a bad rider good.

I live in Portland, or. I bought a gsxr 750 07. I bought it in sept. I have put 8000 miles on it already. Great bike. If you want to ride just give me a call.
971 322 3922. Hope to see you on the open road.

i bought an o6 gsxr 750 and by far the easiest thing i"ve ever rode. i have a yoshi slip on and i can hang with the big boys and juat as fast or faster than any 600 in the twisties.

Check it out. 306 Kph (192 mph)
on what looks like ’04, ’05 GSX-R 750. A he does it in 2.2 Km (1.4 mi.) of road.

I have a maroon 750 with a power commander, Two Brothers Racing stubby exhaust and a F1 race filter. This thing is ridiculously fast. I have yet to challenge a R1 to see if my 145 pounds can beat it.

Got the ylw/blk 06 gixxer 750 in May. Have added a tinted Puig Windscreen, Hotbodies undertail kit and no drill frame sliders. Still waiting to add a pipe but trying to get pricing on having the pipe powder coated in blk. Great bike. My second gixxer.

In reply to llyod - It’s not that big, it feels quite small compared to a 1000cc and it’s easy to move round. In saying that, it still goes hard, but if your wise enough to respect it, you should be fine.
