Suzuki GSXR 750

  Review

suzuki gsxr 750
When the first GSX-R750 was introduced more than two decades ago, it defined an entirely new category of motorcycle: The true racer replica. For more than 20 years, the GSX-R750 has been a direct link between the racetrack and the street.

It is a revolutionary motorcycle that changed production- based racing forever. Filling racing paddocks around the globe, and driving would-be competitors from the grid. A machine so dominant that other brands abandoned the 750cc racing class because they could not compete.

The GSX-R slogan, Own The Racetrack, is based solidly in fact. Say GSX-R75O, and the world thinks of a racebike with lights, with the best possible balance of engine and chassis performance.

For 2006, the latest version of the legendary GSX-R7SO continues to relentlessly advance high-performance technology. Combining the responsive torque and broad, smooth powerband of a heavyweight with the compact size and easier handling of a middleweight. Now more compact . More powerful. More aerodynamic.

Built to Own The Racetrack.

With street equipment added

My 1998 Gsxr-750 SRAD went 182 on the highway yesterday. And it has 30 thousand miles on it. I’m sure the newer ones go faster?

Listen up,

I ride an ’01 750 and I put in in the twisties with the best and hang with and rest. "Best Sportbike Ever" says Sportrider Mag and I believe them. Full Yoshi, PC3, 520 conv and TRE. Put it on Power Pilots and go get ’em. More importantly I can ride. A fast bike means nothing without the skill to control it. Keep it on two wheels when you can and ride to the fullest.

I have a maroon 750 with a power commander, Two Brothers Racing stubby exhaust and a F1 race filter. This thing is ridiculously fast. I have yet to challenge a R1 to see if my 145 pounds can beat it.

Got the ylw/blk 06 gixxer 750 in May. Have added a tinted Puig Windscreen, Hotbodies undertail kit and no drill frame sliders. Still waiting to add a pipe but trying to get pricing on having the pipe powder coated in blk. Great bike. My second gixxer.

In reply to llyod - It’s not that big, it feels quite small compared to a 1000cc and it’s easy to move round. In saying that, it still goes hard, but if your wise enough to respect it, you should be fine.
